Latrell Sprewell Arrested for Playing Loud Music on New Year’s Eve at 4:15 in the Afternoon
Latrell Sprewell has always been one of the most fascinating basketball personalities, both during his playing days and since he retired. On New Year’s Eve, Sprewell was arrested and booked into jail at 4:15 p.m. From the Journal-Sentinel:
Milwaukee native and former NBA star Latrell Sprewell was arrested for disorderly conduct Monday afternoon after police received repeated complaints about loud music coming from a house on E. Pleasant St. on Milwaukee’s east side, according to jail records reviewed by the Journal Sentinel Tuesday.
Noise complaints during daylight hours are just impressive. It sounds like he was gearing up for an epic night.

Maybe the cops in Milwaukee are that bored, but I find it hard to believe they’d take him to jail for just a noise complaint.

“Why would I want to turn the music down? They’re not doing anything for me. I’m at risk. I have a lot of risk here. I got my family to deafen.”

It sounds like the cops were tired of going to his place to tell him to turn the radio down.

Can’t blame Spree, he had to move the boat party to the house after The Man took away his yacht.
Vez, what’s the new user name gonna be? How about Northern Ill Annoys, in honor of the Orange Bowl?

I too find it hard to believe they would have arrested Spree during the day on NYE. I lived in Milwaukee for 2 years (yes, it sucked) and college kids always party hard in the area he was arrested. Must be more to the story.
