JaVale McGee Hit the First 3-Pointer of His Career and Celebrated Like He Hadn’t Been There Before [Video]
The Clippers had won 17 consecutive games coming into tonight’s matchup with the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggest took a 16 point lead into the 4th quarter following a JaVale McGee 3-pointer. And not just any 3-pointer. It was the first 3-pointer of McGee’s 4-year career. His celebration was not that of a man who was just 0-4 in his career from behind the arc. It was the celebration of a man who knows he should be taking and making threes every night. That is the follow through of a pure shooter.

His form on that shot was every bit as good as other bigs like ‘Sheed or Robert Horry. Loved the celebration, also.
Good win for the Nugs.
