Heather Cox: Post-Game Interview With David Shaw Cut Off By Rose Bowl, “Are You Kidding?”
Heather Cox tried to get her Rose Bowl post-game interview with Stanford coach David Shaw. The Rose Bowl Committee cut her off, pulling Shaw away for the trophy presentation. The booth left her mic on, gifting us Cox’s “Are you kidding!?” We presume Holly Rowe would not have stood for that.
Shortly after, Cox got her interview. We’re guessing someone at the Rose Bowl got an angry call from the WWL.

This happened 30 seconds after the game ended. Trophy presentation wasn’t until several minutes later after a commercial break. I’m thinking just a some communication errors among the Rose Bowl folks.

First question was the usual “what does this mean for your program” crap. I’m guessing heather “woodward” cox’s next question wasn’t gonna be any better.

Espn overshadowed Stanford’s orange bowl win a couple of years ago by posturing harbaugh. This is just karma. Plus heather cox is an idiot.

Like to see that Rose Bowl guy pulling on Jim Schwartz’s shoulder. Probably would have gotten his headset shoved up his ass.

Can every post-game interview be cut short? Every single one of them is the same question and answer over and over again with the only variety being if a player/the coach/program is going through some sort of controversy.

I’d just like to note ESPN’s current crop of sideline reporters is absolute garbage. Rinaldi’s boring, Cox isn’t much to look at, neither is Sally Struthers that covers USC. Jeannine Edwards sucks (I’m still not over the Ron Franklin thing.) The chick last night covering the Orange Bowl kept calling FSU “Florida” and there’s a hispanic chick floating around that is just totally clueless on the sports she’s covering…..Is it that hard to find good talent these days?
