New Year’s Eve Bowl Games: N.C. State vs. Vanderbilt, USC vs. Georgia Tech, Iowa State vs. Tulsa
Music City Bowl [N.C. State vs. Vanderbilt] Reaching this bowl game earned James Franklin a contract extension and got Tom O’Brien fired. N.C. State relies on a prolific, but inefficient passing attack. Vanderbilt has a Top 5 pass defense and continuity. Anchor Down. Pick: Vanderbilt [-7]
Sun Bowl [USC vs. Georgia Tech] Go 7-5 in the Big Ten, you play in Florida on New Year’s Day. Go 7-5 in the Pac 12? You spend New Years Eve being toasted by El Paso. Matt Barkley’s torment has ended. USC has handled its disappointing fate SC-style. The Trojans have struggled in 2012, against anything resembling a power or unorthodox rushing attack. Pick: Georgia Tech [+7.5]
Liberty Bowl [Iowa State vs. Tulsa] We are so proud of Paul Rhoads for sticking with Iowa State, but we have errands to run. Pick: Iowa State [-2]
Bowl Record ATS: 13-6

Yeah, I am pretty sure USC is the worst thing to ever hit El Paso. Nevermind, that you’re right next door to one of the world’s murder capitals…two USC players TWEETED some sh– about your town! How awful!!

Wittek should throw for 300

Nothing on LSU/Clemson? That should be a pretty good match up.

Taking VAN -7.5 this afternoon. Not even looking at the Sun Bowl. Ugh, that game has ugliness written all over it. USC doesn’t want to be there, GATECH is awful football to watch. Too close to the Mexico border, surprised some fan hasnt been killed yet.
Looking at TULSA +1 later on today.
/back on the betting bandwagon

Vanderbilt has a Top 5 pass defense*
*by playing some of the worst QBs in college football.

Why the Tosh.0 gif on a sports site?

whatta catch!

I can get behind that. I’ll give them top QB play against UGA & SoCAR, 2nd tier with FLA and TEN. After that, it was bad.

Had control when it hit his right hand, tiptoe and then tucked it in. Great catch no doubt

I’m more interested in which Clemson team shows up. They are more than capable of hanging with LSU if they come to play – but are just as likely to drop a steaming pile in the middle of the Georgia Dome.

i think it’s best if i just forget the game is happening and check on the score later

I hope I can come thru for both of us on this game. Just thought VAN has played better talent, though they had common opponents in WF and TENN. VAN handled both and NCST was 1-1.
Here’s an update on TULSA/ISU. Line on Boavada has moved 2 pts, TULSA going from a Dog to the Fav now. Wow. Either Sharps are hitting this hard with big $$$ or Vegas correcting itself.
I have TULSA winning this came outright before the line move. I got a 35-25 score. These 2 teams played the 1st week and ISU took it to them 38-23. Both teams ran the ball well, though TULSA had the 3 TOs.
Just dont see alot of motivation on ISU’s part to play a team you already beat in the season. TULSA won the CUSA title and has a chance for an 11 win season and a little revenge as well.
I like TULSA -1. GLTA

Bad start for Wittek
