Greatest Hockey Brawl Ever Took Place in the Southern Professional Hockey League [Video]
This video is from a recent game in the SPHL (Southern Professional Hockey League) between the Huntsville Havoc and Mississippi Surge. According to the YouTube description, the officials let some dirty plays go and lost control of the game to the point where players from one team entered the other team’s bench for some frontier justice. What followed was one of the more impressive hockey brawls you will ever see. According to Puck Daddy, the teams will meet again in January. Buy your tickets at the box office.

First off, don’t fight on a bench, you need to know better than going in another team’s bench. Second, two guys to a fight. This is really low tier hockey but a governing body will have to throwdown some suspensions, staggered.

this young man has had a very trying rookie season, with the litigation, the notoriety, his subsequent deportation to Canada and that country’s refusal to accept him, well, I guess that’s more than most 21-year-olds can handle.

Rarely do you see a guy jump on a fight loser that’s on the ground and still throw down on him. That’s poor. But yeah, that other guy was way way out of his league. Kinda bush to beat the fuck out of a guy that’s out of way outta his league. Just beat him down.
And every one of these low tier hockey announcers sounds like some barely functioning short-busser from bumfuck Minesota that spends his nights seeing how many cotton balls he can jam up his nose. Brutal all around.

So here in the office, one of the consultants from India telling another not to drink the tap water here.
I find that hilarious for some odd reason.

No brawl can match the Punchup in Piestany. Only way to end it was to shut the lights in the building off. Canadian team was immediately evacuated from the country.

zeus, do players in europe and russian learn to fight, like north americans?

Vez, much less fighting in European leagues. In terms of the Jags – who would take the GM job knowing they had to take Tebow? Guessing no one of the quality they need. Hope they don’t go that direction.
