J.J. Watt With a Touching Christmas Image: Facing Off Against Children From Newtown
J.J. Watt sent out this image entitled “Our new friends from Newtown, CT”. It shows Watt in his menacing three point stance that has terrorized opponents all year, facing off against a group of children wearing Texans jerseys. Watt was deeply touched by the tragedy, and is involved with children’s causes through his charity. He wrote “Newtown, Connecticut” on his gloves a few weeks ago, and now appears to have brought a group of kids to Houston’s Reliant Stadium during Christmas break.

Whole UConn men’s team, coaches, Jim Calhoun, film department, etc. all went to Newtown youth center. Giants are hosting 200 students and 200 parents to the game Sunday. Its nice to see everyone doing something. Our school made the snow flakes for the children to have a white out when they start in their new school. It was more for the older students (4,5,6 graders) so they have a feeling like they are doing something to help as many wanted to and talked about how to they could.

J.J. Watt is a better person (and player) than pretty much all of us:
