Rolex has a very small crown etching at 6 that many fakes do not. Also, if you can see any of the inner workings it’s fake. The date is magnified on Rolex, but not on many fakes. The second hand should spin, but not tick however this is one of the most common “fixes” that knock-offs duplicate.

If the other one only sold for $50, odds are it’s fake too.

My stepdad bought a fake Rolex at an auction. They had 2. And apparently the other one was real and sold for only $50. Bet the guy who sold it was pissed when they found out. It had the serial number located between the band and one end of the frame, and the second hand didn’t tick but constantly spun. According to to my stepdad, that meant it was real. Can anyone confirm? Wonder how much that fucker’s worth.
