No. They had to make either a commitment to either lose DA for nothing as a UFA or extend him way before the draft. IIRC, I think by March 1st. So they extended him. With a mild bonus his cap # became too large to trade (even if there were mild offers) and nobody really came clamoring for Quinn.

I thought it was crazy because they had just paid so much for Brady Quinn, and should have given him the shot and sold high on Anderson, but still…

I looked back through google etc to see what this site had on Wilson. TBL predicted he’d start at least a couple games this year, and took a lot of heat for it. Lisk also was very high on him and thought he had 1st round value. Good job, fellas.

Eric Berry is a ridiculous selection, and not based on actually watching him play all year.

nowhere in the voting guidelines does it say you have to watch them. You get a ballot, and choose a name your recognize.
