Dwyane Wade Kicked Ramon Sessions in the Balls and Got Away With It
Dwyane Wade, seemingly frustrated by a foul 35 feet from the basket on Ramon Sessions of the Bobcats, reacted by lifting his leg and kicking Sessions in the groin. It’s fairly obvious this act was on purpose. If you don’t think it was, then you don’t think Suh-went-balls on Schaub on Thanksgiving.
Guess the refs didn’t see it that way, as no foul was called on Wade. Said Sessions: “I thought he did it on purpose, and it wasn’t called.” Charlotte has lost 16 games in a row.

Love how all the players jawing so the 2 refs get in the middle to break it up, but the female ref stays as far away as possible and doesn’t do a thing. I’m sure the 2 guys who are in the middle of this are happy she was there to help.

it’ll be even worse when your dumb baby puts one in her mouth and your wife drops the whole box in the garbage because she’s pissed at you retroactively for all the golfing you used to do.

I think when the kid is out of his colic/reflux/teething phase I can get out and play again.

The Penta is sweet. I once found 6 dozen of this Taylor Made Strata TL2 Tour or something silly like that for $8 a dozen online. For a cheap ball, I really really liked them.

I’ve only been playing regularly for 2 seasons. hovered around 18 this year, looking to get down to 14 next year. single digit handicap is still a pipe dream for this guy.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:30 AM
let me get this straight: all you new dads want to spend time with the baby?
December 27th, 2012 at 10:30 AM
no way dude…ive been playing 5 years and got down to a single digit pretty easy. getting down to scratch? TOTALLY DIFFERENT story. it seems the harder i try, the more fail-y i get.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:30 AM
yep. I got my first driver in over 2 years earlier this fall. I built up confidence off the tee with the 3W for a year or so, it made hitting the driver so much easier. now I rarely hit my 3W and have great confidence off the tee with the driver.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:30 AM
I took a lesson and spent the time on my driver only. Worked wonders with my drives. My problem is I can’t putt.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:30 AM
The 3-wood has changed my game. I hit it consistent enough to use on all the dog legs at my course, where I used to try and bomb a driver over the turn and ended up OB 1/2 the time. Real game changer.

mine is actually going to be more of a budgeting/money issue to start off with rather than time.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:33 AM
I don’t want to get ahead of myself. If I can get to 14 in 2013, I’ll be looking to get to 10 in 2014. My biggest focus is consistency with my game.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:34 AM
I was back to my weekly poker game a week after my kid was born. My wife did her thing and I watched the kid in return. It isn’t that hard. No reason for both parents to be around 100% of the time.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:34 AM
I dumped the 3- and 5- woods and went to a 7-wood this year. That has made a huge difference off the tee when I don’t want to hit driver.
Plus I forced myself to learn a low-trajectory “bullet fade” with the driver for windy days when I needed a 240-yd tee ball.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:36 AM
Yeah I’m not great with a 3w or even a hybrid off the tee. I’ve started taking a 3/4 swing driving now. Keeps me much more accurate, but I lose 20-30 yards, which sucks. I basically fight my ego the whole round. I also lost distance with irons too. so whatever.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:36 AM
Wouldn’t it be easier to just write it up and post the link here?
December 27th, 2012 at 10:36 AM
good focus…tho, it’s frustrating consistently having a few flubbed chips, careless 3-footers, pulled short irons and hooked drives ruin 14 holes where you played well.
and now the withdrawls are starting again…great.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:37 AM
I have a 3 wood that I rarely hit after learning to hit my driver consistently. I’m pretty solid with my long irons too, which helps keep the 3w in the bag.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:37 AM
I hear that. Wife and I having to go the fertility doctor route. It’s not fun for the pocket book. Though, if we have a boy, I’m naming it Ted Debiase, the Million Dollar Baby.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:38 AM
Anyone play hybrid irons? I’ve got a hybrid 3 that I LOVE.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:39 AM
yea, ive always had at least one hybrid in the bag…looking for a new one. have a cleveland mashie tour (less offset, smaller head) that’s just meh. great shaft (miyazaki) but hate the head. def upgrading before next year.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:39 AM
I really wanted to avoid hybrids, but got a Cobra, and love it. Doesn’t feel great off the tee, but is money from the fairway. If you have more than one hybrid though, you better be an old man or a chick.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:40 AM
I’ve got a Callaway X 21* 3-hybrid that I love. But I won’t have another hybrid in the bag until I’m an old man.

December 27th, 2012 at 10:42 AM
If Tour Edge Exotics made a CB2 fairway wood in 24* I’d play that instead of a hybrid.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:42 AM

Fortunately, wife’s insurance covers the vast majority of it. Very lucky in that regard, most insurance companies don’t cover it at all.

Yeesh. We’ve done a couple rounds of shots. Considering how much they cost, I figured they’d come in a gold plated box and a Yeti cooler, but alas, it was a styrofoam cooler & ice pack.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:44 AM
older baffler’s were great.
love the “old man” comment. yea…why carry a club that’s great from the rough, sand, fairway and teebox that can be hit high or low, that’s way more playable from the rough than a FW and way more forgiving than a long iron?
how many of yall hit your 3i that much farther than your 4i to make it worth carrying both clubs?
December 27th, 2012 at 10:44 AM
HA! I used to have that same problem. Now I stick to 2 beers per 9. Helps keep me relaxed and no worry about a DUI on the way home.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:44 AM
how is a grandpappy’s 9w less embarassing than a hybrid?
December 27th, 2012 at 10:46 AM
Good luck, man. I’m not much of the praying type but I’ll have my Mom shoot one up for you since she’s already sending 1000 a day on my behalf.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:46 AM
I got a TM Rescue 3 & 4, but I took the 3 out a while back. they are so easy to hit, I love that 4. my biggest problem with it is that if I try to kill it I hook it bad, swing easy though and it is money.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:47 AM
NO 3i for me, but my 4i is a club that I’ve always been able to hit really well.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:48 AM
Though, if we have a boy, I’m naming it Ted Debiase, the Million Dollar Baby.
steve austin, six million dollar baby
December 27th, 2012 at 10:49 AM
I carry a 3 hybrid. But I hit my 4-5-6 so well, I don’t imagine needing anymore hybrids for quite a while.
/ Almost had my first ace the other day
/ 215 yard 4-iron with 25 mph right to left wind. Aimed 20 yds right with a slight draw, wind did the rest. Ball mark was inches from the hole, rolled right by the lip.
/ Missed the 4′ downhill comebacker.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:51 AM
That’s what I have. Tried every brand and loved this the most.
I built my set separately, so I had a driver and 3W, and got 4-P irons (MP 32). Filled it out with a 3H. I don’t have to hit 3W off the fairway anyway (too risky) and very rarely am I ever in a situation where from 210-225 yards out, I wish I had a more specific club. From that distance, near the green is close enough.
It lets me carry 4 wedges, which I like way better.

December 27th, 2012 at 10:54 AM
We’ve been married 1.5 years, and are old enough that time matters. I’m nervous we will have trouble getting pregnant and have to decide on either treatments, or just not having kids.
I did enjoy shouting across the Target store yesterday to my wife “hey honey don’t forget to get a pregnancy test”.
/she can’t take me anywhere
December 27th, 2012 at 10:55 AM
nice on the near-ace, ritty. make your putts tho man, cmon.
yea, you’re def speaking to where im coming from now.
my problem is i play blades. great from 5-pw, sketchy with the 3i and 4i. end of the year, my 5i was good from 205 on down, but i hit my hybrid too far for anything from 205-240 and didnt hit my long irons consistently enough.
im considering going 4w, 20* hybrid, one of those mizuno utility irons for my 4 and then 5-pw, and then add the gap wedge since i also struggle from between 110 (dont feel comfy stretching my 54* past that) and 120 (struggle hitting my pw less than that unless im into the wind).
December 27th, 2012 at 10:55 AM
Yeah… I’m okay with that but anchored putters cross the line.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:55 AM
meanwhile I just figured I was shooting blanks.

yea…those money clubs that make long shots easy are like dogs. it’s just so hard to replace.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:56 AM
Trust me. I know. Plus I only tell this story anonymously. I don’t like being that guy that tells too many almost stories in real life.
I really, really hope our IUI works the first time. Still having issues to get us to that first attempt.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:56 AM
You can’t just choke up on the PW, open the blade 1/2″, and kinda flop/fade it in? I love that shot. It’s money from 105.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:57 AM
And GPS for guys that can’t hit a target anyway.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:58 AM
I just lost that distance. It kills me that 190 is now my 5i. On a good day.
I get that you should be able to alter distance with wedges easily, but for me, taking my PW down 30 yards if I dont have my 52 is tougher and costs me more strokes than the once a round I need a 205 club and not a 220 club or whatever.
Being 10 yards long or short from that far out is fine, especially since with a 3i, there’s a solid chance I’d have been 20 yards right or left anyway.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:58 AM
Putting has prevented some really, really good rounds for me this year. Going to see my parents this weekend and haven’t done Christmas with them yet. They asked what I wanted a couple weeks ago. I said a putter. Dad asked which kind. I said, at this point, any putter other than the one I have will be fine.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:59 AM
it’s an area of my game i DEF gotta work on. usually i just choke up to control distance, but with my PW it seems whenever i choke up, i hook it and ends up going the same distance.
figure i could just get after a 50* and get a better result.
December 27th, 2012 at 10:59 AM
Good luck man. We tried using clomid, had a miscarriage, doctor wanted to see 6 tries with that before IUIs, then we did 3 IUIs with no luck, and finally did our 2nd IVF. This is our last crack though, after all the rejection and let down of month after month of nothing working, we can’t take it anymore. Eggs looked god for the most recent IVF though, so we have high hopes.
/tomorrow can’t come quick enough…
December 27th, 2012 at 11:00 AM
Phone apps piss me off. People spend 5 minutes getting a reading, then it’s 20 yards off and they fly over the green. Unless it’s a blind shot on a new course, I’m usually more accurate than my clubs, which is good enough. I’ve never felt the need for a GPS or rangefinder.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:01 AM

I got all new wedges this year (all Cleveland 588s including PW), I go 46* PW, 50* GW, 54* SW, 58* LW. My distances with them are very consistent (125, 115, 105, 95). Helped out my game a ton after I got them in July.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:03 AM
Really best wishes for both of you. I hate that adoption is so difficult/expensive, too. It doesn’t make sense given the supply vs. demand of good loving homes.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:04 AM
Wow. Okay, I’ll send a prayer up myself.
We did our first round of Clomid. Hormones made my wife insane and also affected her endometrial lining. So we couldn’t do IUI. This go round the holidays got in the way and we couldn’t get in for a sonogram. So…hopefully our first IUI will be next month. Doctor wants to try 4 before moving on to Stage 2. I’m doing okay but my wife is already as fragile as a woman can be. Life is hard, you know.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:05 AM
I’ve given up golf in favor of shooting sports.
I just figured that I can defend myself with a shotgun or semi-auto pistol better than I could with a 3-iron and a pocket full of balls.
Still play the occasional company/charity tourny with fair results.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:06 AM

Search for a good private agency. Shouldn’t be outrageously expensive. The county/state agencies blow though. A lot of companies give an adoption benefit, mine gave 5000, and there are many tax benefits afterwards.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:08 AM
Oh I spread my genes as often as I can… just not using them to have kids.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:08 AM
D, 3W, 4-9i, 4 wedges, 1 putter, 13 clubs. I could actually add one but haven’t found a hybrid I like enough to buy.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:08 AM
Thanks for the well wishes.
Hilarious.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:09 AM
I’ve got stock MP-32 PW, 52 GW low bounce, 56 SW high bounce, and a 60 lob.
Never once have I wished I had an extra long club instead of one of those. (Driver, 3W, 3H, 4i…… is plenty)
December 27th, 2012 at 11:09 AM
I said, at this point, any putter other than the one I have will be fine.
do you use a heavy putter?
i have a $300 scotty and a old beat-up rosa. when i start sucking with the scotty, i grab the rosa for a few practice session or even a round. i find that it’s obsurd weight helps me get the smooth, hands-free putting stroke back.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:10 AM
That’s how it was for me until the 1st IVF. I’ve handled it a lot better, but as WWoS pointed out above, she feels like a failure and it severely messes with her head. If this doesn’t work out we will definitely look into adoption.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:10 AM
This is our last crack though, after all the rejection and let down of month after month of nothing working, we can’t take it anymore.
My wife has been pregnant four times. One kid out of it (2nd pregnancy.) We gave up. The miscarriages wrecked her emotionally for awhile after each one and then I’d get stressed and not fun all around. The best decision we made was to just give up trying to have another kid. No black cloud hanging over the marriage anymore.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:11 AM
D, 3W, 4-9i, 4 wedges, 1 putter, 13 clubs
i misread; didn’t see the PW mixed in there.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:12 AM
I’ve got family who adopted a kid as a baby (taken away from druggie mom, etc). Had issues with mom trying to get kid back, then lots of developmental issues with the kid. I admire anyone that selfless and loving to take that on, happily.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:12 AM
Ironically, wife’s cousin is a heroin addict, been locked up for most of the last 3 years for various things relating to probation violations. She has a 2 year old who has been in foster care his whole life, she had him in the clink. We offered to adopt to keep him in the family, and she said no way.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:12 AM
so why dont you just throw a buncha lead tape on the bottom of your scotty and match it up?
December 27th, 2012 at 11:13 AM
I need to direct you here
December 27th, 2012 at 11:14 AM
I got rid of my stock PW and got an actual wedge.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:14 AM
I actually really liked practicing with the lightweight wooden one. Really taught me to be steady with my hands and made my normal putter feel really smooth.
/or else I’m just trying to justify spending $70 to build it
December 27th, 2012 at 11:15 AM
mmm-m-m-m-m.

to each their own… i hit long irons way better than any hybrid and i can do more with my 50* wedge than i can with my 54* and 58* combined.
/the 54* and 58* are sexier though

Good luck Ritty.
My wife did the Clomid thing, too. Our first started out as twins but the second one was not fully developing and basically went away.
Funny – I was doing triathlons and the doctor told me “If I’m putting your wife on this med, you gotta promise me you’ll spend less time on that silly bicycle seat.” I slowed it down and bam.
“Yes dear” is your best response to anything your wife says during this time.

December 27th, 2012 at 11:16 AM
No. I have a Scotty Studio Style Newport 2. I might try some lead tape to go heavier and see if that helps.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:17 AM
My son’s mother was a druggie/prostitute, but luckily was in jail for the last 8 months of the pregnancy, so my kid didn’t really get exposed to much.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:17 AM
My God, all of this.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:17 AM
so why dont you just throw a buncha lead tape on the bottom of your scotty and match it up
b/c i’ve found when my stroke is on, i put better with the scotty.
i look at it like the weighted bat in the on-deck circle in baseball.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:18 AM
hey! we have the same putter!
i have 10g of tungsten pellets and some cork in the shaft…it’s about 352g total. im not sure i can ever get another anser style because there’s just no way anything anser will be that much of an improvement.

My son’s mother was a druggie/prostitute, but luckily was in jail for the last 8 months of the pregnancy, so my kid didn’t really get exposed to much. Htown
I’m trying to wrap my head around this. You shot smack with a prostitute and impregnated her and then she went straight to jail?
/You probably adopted, but I like my version better.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:20 AM
my putter’s like a wife, but god damn id totally cheat on her with this.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:20 AM
oops wrong link.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:21 AM
sorry you guys are going through all this/that
All behind us now.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:21 AM
Well I’ll be damned.
Yeah. I like that Piretti Forza. I agree that I won’t get another Anser style.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:22 AM
my putter’s like a wife
good analogy.
it’s definitely the only club in the bag that i won’t consider throwing in a lake.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:22 AM
Yeah. Pretty slim chance of me impregnating anyone.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:22 AM
here it is…this is a sexy putter, even for an odyssey.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:23 AM
I have a good friend dealing with this issue for the last 3-4 years, and she’s married to the little girl’s father. The mom keeps coming back in the picture long enough to keep partial custody, and then relapses.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:24 AM
Yeah. Pretty slim chance of me impregnating anyone.
Haha.

Ark – How much snow did you get?
December 27th, 2012 at 11:29 AM
Not yet. Decided to make it a player for the time being. I’ll get some money rat holed in the coming months and make it happen. Can’t see doing anything but a resto.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:29 AM
that was you that found that at some yard sale mixed in with a whole set right? how did that work out? good I assume.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:30 AM
No kidding. Heading to my parents this weekend. They live on a course and I usually get a couple rounds in, even in the winter, but it’s coooooold this year.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:31 AM
I was actually in Wisconsin, just got back yesterday to zero snow here. the couple counties in NW Arkansas were the only ones in the whole state that didn’t get any. south of I-40 got pounded, L. Rock had 8-10″ in some places. the weather guys up here whiffed big time (shocking).
December 27th, 2012 at 11:32 AM
i’m slowly realizing how terrified i am of switching irons. been talking about it for 2 years now, and i’m convinced it’s going to take some catastrophic event for me to make a move.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:32 AM
fucking blizzard…
December 27th, 2012 at 11:32 AM
Did Dwayne Wade kick you in the balls?
the Truth. You do have a DD for nine months.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:32 AM
just upgrade to the mp64′s. search for golfmygirl’s ebay store…great prices on em.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:33 AM
I switched to Mizuno (MP 59) this year. Won’t ever look back. The fitting process really helps with the decision.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:33 AM
No, but a similar story. I found a guy selling a set of trash irons, a Cleveland Launcher driver, some crappy woods and the Scotty Cameron. Dude had no clue what he had. Unfortunately he hadn’t kept it clean nor oiled it, so it had a few pits, but mostly surface rust. I gave him $275 for the set and sold the rest of the clubs for $300. I took it home, cleaned it up, and that’s that.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:33 AM
ssb golf or slighter golf do great work on restorations. scotty’s custom shop would prolly be pretty expensive.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:34 AM
Did your wives get really horny during pregnancy? around 3-6 months
December 27th, 2012 at 11:34 AM
it’s supposed to get lower 40′s this weekend, which I can handle, but I’m not sure if the course will let us on, need the greens to thaw. after spending a few days with my folks up north, I don’t know how golfers up there do it.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:36 AM
Buy them out of Lacrosse Lager?
December 27th, 2012 at 11:36 AM
you don’t say…..
/looks at calender
December 27th, 2012 at 11:36 AM
i would def stick with mizunos. but the last time i switched, my handicap jumped at least 7 strokes and took years to come back down.
i don’t have another one of those in me.
ritty – where’d you attend a mizuno fitting session?
December 27th, 2012 at 11:37 AM
Whoa. Low 40′s is too cold for me. Might make an exception this weekend, though.
Funny, all this golf talk has prevented me from getting any work done as of yet, which just prevented me from accepting an offer to go play golf this afternoon. DAMN IT!
/ probably wouldn’t have gone anyway
December 27th, 2012 at 11:37 AM
My wife did. I had to get past the whole my child in is your belly thing though. My main concern was putting dents in the babies head.
It’s not too bad. That’s probably to route I’ll take, I’m funny about stuff like that. I want it to be completely original.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:38 AM
scotty’s custom shop would prolly be pretty expensive.
was going to say the same thing. i’d try and do it myself. doubt it’d be that hard.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:40 AM
my dad was telling me they don’t even make that stuff in LaCrosse anymore, what a crock. I did drive by the World’s Largest Sixpack and gave it prison daps on the window.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:40 AM
My main concern was putting dents in the babies head.
it blocks the whole putting dents in the wife’s lungs problem though

December 27th, 2012 at 11:40 AM
There is a weird driving range that is a Mizuno dealer here in town (Midland TX). It was a simple process that I think all Mizuno dealers use. They have a device that goes on shafts that measures swing speed, tempo, lie angle, and something else. You make a few swings, get an average, they punch it into a computer, and the computer makes a couple of shaft suggestions. I hit a couple of different shafts and a couple of different heads and went with the MP 59 w/ Project X 6.0 shafts.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:41 AM
lol…im the exact opposite. i want as little connection to scotty cameron as i can (after all, it’s MY putter now, not his)…took all the paintfill off my putter except for “cameron” and “titleist”.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:42 AM
I’ve been doing this lately. Going to re-paint mine to match my bag and club head covers. You’ll never guess – orange and blue.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:43 AM
i tried a few swings with my old nike’s with PX 6.0′s and forgot how much i loved em. and i hit PX’s a good half club longer than DG’s (tho havent got kbs c-tapers on a launch monitor yet).
December 27th, 2012 at 11:43 AM
A complete restoration with Scotty (new shaft, shaft band, original grip, original headcover included) is $195. That would give you a completely original Santa Fe TeI3. Worth it IMO.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:44 AM
took all the paintfill off my putter except for “cameron” and “titleist”.

December 27th, 2012 at 11:45 AM
Yeah, but she was so afraid of losing another one that she choked it away.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:45 AM
also…those are 18-month old pics, i got an awesome wear spot right in the middle these days.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:45 AM
Project X 6.0 shafts
i’d have a hard time getting away from DG. haven’t hit a PX worthy of it yet.
i haven’t gone out of my way to find a mizuno fitting in the DC area, but i also haven’t seen/heard of one.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:46 AM
That is why the kids have that soft spot on the top of their head.
Actually though, not so much with the first kid, but the second…she was a horny woman. The motion rocks the baby to sleep….allegedly.

December 27th, 2012 at 11:47 AM
It looks more “professional” without the color fill. Looks good.
I like color though so I’m going to trick mine out a little.

December 27th, 2012 at 11:50 AM
I hope by “it”, you meant your junk.
December 27th, 2012 at 11:50 AM
it’s funny, when i was using mine, i thought they felt a lil boardy and harsh. later in the year, tried out some s56′s with PX 6.5′s in em and thought they felt WAY better.
the kbs c-tapers tho…whoo. thsoe are excellent.
big lol.

You’re a Boise State fan? Why the Auburn logo then?
/Oh…
December 27th, 2012 at 11:57 AM
Dwyane Wade is a filthy player and a punk. If he is in favor of low blows, he had the perfect opportunity to deliver one when Perkins kicked him in the face. But we all know bullies only pick on those who are smaller than them. Also, I’m loving the chatter about Wade being “healthier” this year. Yes, HGH will do that for you
December 27th, 2012 at 12:21 PM
No chance Wade pulls that on Stephen Jackson or Gerald Wallace.
