This day sucks ass. Can we get a post about how awful Peter King is or have we already reached the year quota?
December 26th, 2012 at 10:43 AM
I feel like teh internet reads Peter King columns just to complain about Peter King columns.
December 26th, 2012 at 10:47 AM
I have KSK do that thankfully for me. His fellating of Goodell this week was unberable.
/As well, finally read through the FJM archives. Magary and Mike Tunison can’t touch that quality, very good stuff there.

Starbucks Corp will use its ubiquitous coffee cups to tell U.S. lawmakers to come up with a deal to avoid going over the “fiscal cliff” and triggering automatic tax hikes and spending cuts.
Chief Executive Howard Schultz is urging workers in Starbucks’ roughly 120 Washington-area shops to write “come together” on customers’ cups on Thursday and Friday
SOP. While our taxes go up, these morons are jacking each other off.

You watch Sportscenter? I think they have medication for that affliction.

Centrally-acting neurotransmitter re-uptake inhibitors rarely work on patients with frontal lobotomies.

This shit pisses me off. Leave it to NY to somehow make me on the same side as the NRA. Fuck.
/owns multiple guns
//also owns two dogs with a history of attacking any males who come to the house

frontal lobotomy is like a bottle in front of me

December 26th, 2012 at 11:06 AM
I saw that, fucking ridiculous.
December 26th, 2012 at 11:06 AM
It’s fucking snowing y’all, and no one is around today at work. Bout to go spend some gift card money, buy a nice bottle of liquor, and wait for more in-laws to roll in.
December 26th, 2012 at 11:07 AM
buy a nice bottle of liquor

And for the record as a fiscal conservative/social liberal, I’m actually in favor of somewhat stricter (but not absolute) gun control.
But also, increased screening/aid/support for mental illness would go a long way.
December 26th, 2012 at 11:09 AM
i recommend rise of the guardians btw, for those with kids. spence, santa is a russian with tats. would be a good show after a few rips
December 26th, 2012 at 11:09 AM
Anybody like any gins above Bombay Sapphire? Otherwise I’ll end up with that (I’m not rich…).
Also going to buy a bottle of port/sherry/brandy and a few cigars to enjoy with my step-father, if anyone has a suggestion that way.

Where in New England are you? Nothing in Boston yet

WWoS – I saw that over the weekend. Gotta love public records and those that know how to use them.
Funny – I have a small S&W sticker on each of my doors of my house. Anyone that comes to my house, knows I’m a gun owner.

Anyone see Django Unchained?

Would be better if they wrote “cum together”. People could get behind that a little more.
December 26th, 2012 at 11:13 AM
I have the same but mine is for Smith and Wollesnky. Gotta love that filet

Nah. People might get it mixed up with “color together” and then everyone would be confused.

I feel absolutely gross after these past three days of doing nothing and eating. I can’t even imagine how awful Ryan is feeling. That waistline is about to explode

I’d like to see the statistics that show that burglar alarms (or just as often, just the signs), and dogs are the best anti-theft measures you can take. Our neighbor has an alarm system, and since we share a driveway, it appears that we do too.

It is better than when McIntyre attributed comments made by Dirt to me. This happened about two or three years ago over a six month period. I had no idea why he kept getting angry at me. McIntyre still doesn’t respond to phone calls or love letters from me.

Just watched a YouTube vid of a dude singing, playing guitar, and playing the bass line with his feet (some sort of pedals thing). I haven’t even perfected rubbing the tummy/patting the head yet.

Rotoworld has had over 1 billion page views this year. The growth of fantasy sports is amazing.
Any guesses as to the total number of page views for this site?
December 26th, 2012 at 11:35 AM
Once they clipped/watermarked Gangnam Style and put it up on YouTube, I’m sure it jumped up a few million.
December 26th, 2012 at 11:36 AM
300 million h-town
December 26th, 2012 at 11:37 AM
I have enjoyed listening to some sports journalists/pundits/broadcasters (especially those that played the game they cover) do on-air plugs for Fantasy sports sites. You know most of those guys hate that stuff, but now that it’s a gigantic business, they can’t openly crap all over it.
December 26th, 2012 at 11:38 AM
I think that’s a decent guess. Rotoworld is ranked somewhere near 3000 on alexa. TheBigLead is around 19,000

Low 7 figures.
December 26th, 2012 at 11:40 AM
what’s crazy h-town is you saying you played fantasy in the 80s. not for your age but that must have been right around when it began
December 26th, 2012 at 11:42 AM
Yeah, my first year at UT was ’86. Started playing fantasy football and what was then called rotisserie baseball at that time. It wasn’t a big deal back then.
December 26th, 2012 at 11:45 AM
Funny to see the 3rd highest sports website is ESPNcricinfo.com. ESPN has a cricket website to appeal to India, which apparently is really into insects.
December 26th, 2012 at 11:53 AM
Wow. Number 205? Shocking.

Bombay Sapphire runs about $25/750ml bottle and Hendrick’s is about $33/750ml (at least in NC with stupid ABC stores and State taxes).

they have contract info for players that’s readily accessible. Go there, type in the player name, and get the info quickly.
It’s handy.
