I think so. Some dumbass kid posted a threat on Facebook yesterday to shoot up a school around my hometown yesterday, although he didnt specify which school. Someone saw it, contacted the police, and he was arrested yesterday afternoon.

That’s the big question we are dealing with right now, as we sit in hour #2 of our lockdown. If someone goes on Twitter though and just says they “heard” there will be a shooting, it’s hard to pinpoint that someone or some kid actually called or wrote on some bathroom stall that they are planning to do something.

If you hear about a school threat you close the school. It sucks when their are bogus threats or exploitation, but that’s what you need to do. Copycat crime is something that does occur and it would be reckless of administrators anywhere – who are charged with providing a SAFE environment for kids to learn.
It would be easier to make that a standard juvy prison offense for offenders.
What is alarming how many schools, despite the incidents of the past few years, who still dont have their emergency plans filed with appropriate offices.

Yesterday was our last day. Thankfully no kids even talked about it from what I could hear so no threats or anything. Now that may be because they don’t have TV or middle schoolers these days are just tuned out to literally everything around them

my wife’s school had security cameras installed but not hooked up, so the CCTV monitors in the office had the weather channel on.. and they had doors that only locked from the outside and opened into the hall, rather the class room.
thankfully the district is working on getting the workorders set up to change that.

I love it. Worley is a decent QB, and apparently both OTs are staying, so that helps. Of course no one will be able to catch balls, and Patterson was easily their best player. And to think, he was all set to go to UGA until Dooley hired his coach. Now his coach is fired and he’s going pro. Had that fucker gone to UGA they’d be playing for a natty right now.

I truly believe UGA is going to be in the MNC hunt next year provided Murray stays (as most think he will). I think their D will surprise people next year. They lose a ton, but they have some young studs who played plenty this year.

wow, I can’t believe that 7 foot tall black guy who plays basketball for a living was able to dunk that basketball. Husker, they have some decent receivers who can make plays still, but losing Hunt and CP is just unfair. The guy that was really huge all yet was Zach Rogers. Reliable and fast. If Bray is for sure leaving (please do), I think they will no doubt about it suck again, even with a soft schedule.

I wasn’t just blown away when it happened, but the more I look at it the more I like it. I’m just really hoping the asst. he is bringing in can recruit like everyone is saying they can. it’s going to take a few years, but I think after a few classes get in they should be pretty solid.
