Portland was a cool town, but holy shit are there a lot of young vagrant types. In ATL there a ton of old homeless people, but in Portland they all looked like they were under 20. Fucking hippies. Was a fun town, though.

Also, I was in Portland last month for work and spoke with several Oregon fans who said Kelly was gone after this year.

Guys, Chip Kelly is G-O-N-E per sources in the coaching community across the country. IMO, he’s likely pulling a Pete Carroll – getting out while the getting is good. Will be interesting to see what domino effect this has in the college coaching world. Should be fascinating to watch because it will take place in mid-January as opposed to late November and early December. Everyone with a coach who might be targeted by the Ducks had better lock things up by then.
