Ronaldo Dedicated Himself and Lost 40 Pounds, After Retiring As a Professional Athlete
Brazilian soccer legend Ronaldo played his last match in 2011. He saw 2012 as the opportune time to get his act together and finally lose some weight.
Ronaldo, appearing on Globo’s show Medida Certa, has lost nearly 40 pounds since September, dropping from a 42-inch to a 36-inch waist. This appears to be the result of swimming, dancing, yoga and beach soccer.
He plays in his annual charity match with Zinedine Zidane later this week. We may see him break into his first full sprint since about 2005.

It was embarrassing watching him play towards the end of his career. He had the work ethic of Albert Hanynesworth.

For the sake of his ACL’s, MCL’s and whatever little else is left in there I pray he doesn’t attempt this.
Props to him though. Antoine Walker and Shawn Kemp should sign up for season 2 of that show.

I lost 52lbs in the last 7 months. Under 2 bills for the first time in like a decade.
Joe Dillon Difference diet, and then, after losing the first 30lbs, Insanity workouts as well. I aspire to rock a smedium like the EIC.

You’re still a fan of the game. I love it. You get hammered on 90% of the stuff on here, but good to see you are still one of us.
Cheers.
