Notre Dame vs. Alabama: Catholics vs. Cousins. Has a nice ring to it, no? I’m sure this will go over well in the South. Finebaum will spend what, three days on this?
Because Catholics vs. Convicts was so catchy, I have a feeling this one will stick, too. The game is something like three weeks away.
In case you’re wondering, this isn’t the best t-shirt in college football this season. This Tennessee one is.

Uh Clausen is actually one of the best quarterbacks Notre Dame has ever had. Had a dogshit team around him his first year, but his junior year was one of the best QB seasons they’ve ever had. Were definitely wrong on him being a lock in the pros, but he was a great college quarterback.

That 2010 draft was a masterstroke by Hurney and the Panthers.
No first round pick because the previous year they got San Francisco’s second and fourth round picks for their 2010 first rounder. Used those on Everette Brown and Mike Goodson, both gone now.
Niners used that pick on Mike Iupati. Carolina then took Clausen (oops) Lafell (okay) then traded up to get Armanti Edwards, whom nobody was going to take that early and was strictly a move to sell jerseys, giving New England the second fucking pick in the 2011 second round. GENIUS AT WORK
