Jeremy Lin Returns to New York to Face the Knicks
We’re only 1/4 of the way through the season, but it sure looks like the Knicks made all the right moves in the offseason.
Jason Kidd – his boozy summer accident has been forgotten under a wave of 3-pointers – is thriving. Rasheed Wallace, technicals and all, can still make it rain. You know what they say about the oldest – also the wisest!
And yes, New York’s successful offseason moves (so far) include dumping Jeremy Lin for Raymond Felton. Maybe that means Carmelo Anthony will be a GM one day!
Lin returns to MSG tonight for the first time since the Knicks let him sign with Houston, and for the first half, I’ll be wearing my Lin t-shirt (around 8:25 I’ll switch into my Sanchez smedium). The Rockets lost to the lowly Raptors Sunday, and Lin struggled, making 3-of-9 and finishing with just seven points, three turnovers and two assists. Wonder if he had the Knicks on his mind.
The Knicks are 10-point favorites, and I expect the Knicks to roll, with JR Smith and Melo (if he plays) attempting no fewer than 40 shots combined.

Melo’s got no reason to dislike Lin. It’s the other way around if anything. Melo’s monstrous ego abhorred Linsanity

Melo has a wife that is a rapper. Lin isn’t down for the cause. (Rob Parker). I am confident I didn’t do that right.
