Indiana vs. Butler was an unbelievable college basketball game that was Nationally televised with the #1 team in the country getting knocked off on a last second shot and nobody talks about it.

Bit of an open question…. and this is from a former sports nut, but why is college football such a big deal? When and why did it become so big? Is it b/c pro football is so big?
