Pat Barry beat Shane del Rosario with the Knockout of the Night during last night’s Ultimate Fighte 16 Finale on FX. After the fight, an emotional Barry gave a tearful interview where he told fans to hug their kids and parents and bury any beef they had with old friends.

A little later, on the other side of the country, Saturday Night Live’s cold open featured the New York Children’s Chorus singing Silent Night. This was the first time that SNL went with a somber opening since the first episode that followed 9/11. Both videos were hard to watch live or the morning after.
