Just got through watching the Falcons pound the NYGiants. I realize that everyone’s emotions are raw by now but Fox could have maybe dropped the guns blazing in game ads for Django and Gangster Squad. Even more cringe inducing we’re the State Farm classroom ads. They just didnt feel right to me.

I think that’s the ravishing Rick Rude dance.
December 16th, 2012 at 4:20 PM

WHAT the FUCK is THAT!? A jelly donut?!

Dean Spanos oughta just come down from his suite and put Norv out of his misery. Down by 21 at the end of the first? Set it & call it.

Dean Spanos oughta just come down from his suite and put Norv out of his misery.
Even at work with only being able to look at ESPN’s gametracker, it still looks bad.
December 16th, 2012 at 4:50 PM
Norv to SC!!!
December 16th, 2012 at 4:52 PM
Odds AP breaks Dickersons record…just 274 yards away with final game being Green Bay.
December 16th, 2012 at 4:52 PM
sc, you can have him. And, I’d expect he’d do a great job there. No sarcasm.
December 16th, 2012 at 4:53 PM
The officiating in that Bears/Packers game was atrocious.
December 16th, 2012 at 4:54 PM
Odds Megatron beats Rices receiving yards record?
December 16th, 2012 at 4:55 PM
I’d love to have him, but I’m sure half the NFL would too
December 16th, 2012 at 4:57 PM
I give Peterson a good chance, as I think they’ll be eliminated from the playoffs after losing at Houston. Then Minn will just feed him for the record week 17
December 16th, 2012 at 5:00 PM
Mike Wallace is terrible.
/things I type every week

Seattle’s third round pick is tearing buffalo up today. Buffalo’s third round pick is useless on this team, along with the coach, gm, and QB
December 16th, 2012 at 5:23 PM
Jim Schwartz should be fired by midnight if the Lions lose
December 16th, 2012 at 5:25 PM
Jim Schwartz should be fired by midnight if the Lions lose
Agreed. My wallet is not approving of this performance.
December 16th, 2012 at 5:26 PM
Pat Peterson > Calvin Johnson
December 16th, 2012 at 5:28 PM
Bullshit.
Lindley > Stafford
December 16th, 2012 at 5:33 PM
Mike Tice > Scott Linehan
December 16th, 2012 at 5:42 PM
Bowel movement > bills run defense
December 16th, 2012 at 5:48 PM
Hillbilly pick 6.
December 16th, 2012 at 5:52 PM
Hillbilly pick 6.
All I had left was Lions and Seahawks at -6.5 for 100 bucks. Not looking good now. My 20 dollar card just needs Steelers at +5.5.
December 16th, 2012 at 5:53 PM
Does Angry Jim get desperate and go to Hill in the second half? I certainly would
December 16th, 2012 at 5:56 PM
Michael J. Fox shaving my scrotum with a dull razor > watching the Lions
December 16th, 2012 at 5:57 PM
Roethlisberger runs around for ten seconds and finds Heath Miller for a TD. Damn.
December 16th, 2012 at 5:58 PM
Fire JS today and get a jump on the Saban pursuing competition
December 16th, 2012 at 6:02 PM
There’s a pretty solid contingent of Spartan fans that still hope he never sets foot in the state again.
December 16th, 2012 at 6:08 PM
Serious question: have the Lions ever hired a highly respected coach? No, Bobby Ross and Mariucci don’t count.
Ford is clearly incapable of putting together a competent football ops dept., so I say go for Saban and offer him complete control
December 16th, 2012 at 6:21 PM
**COUGH** **COUGH**
December 16th, 2012 at 6:21 PM
Cocaine Wayne bitch.
December 16th, 2012 at 6:28 PM
Bring Wayne back! If he can appear on Chris Spielman’s football life, he can still coach!
December 16th, 2012 at 6:31 PM
It’s a meaningless game, but there is no justification for KC going on 4th there
December 16th, 2012 at 6:40 PM
Odds AP breaks Dickersons record…just 274 yards away with final game being Green Bay.
I’d say 30%. As long as he can break off those big gainers it’s absolutely in play.
December 16th, 2012 at 6:41 PM
Hey Vlad. You see Michigan let Dawson re-commit? I can’t believe they did that.
December 16th, 2012 at 6:42 PM
I fell asleep in the Browns halftime and obviously didn’t miss much. I am just worn out. Tonight I am preparing a list of all these employees that have requested holiday vacation but are either being sneaky or ignorant that they’ve exhausted their vacation balances for the year.
December 16th, 2012 at 6:43 PM
but are either being sneaky or ignorant that they’ve exhausted their vacation balances for the year.
So just like Stafford and the rest of the Lions-they’re fucking bums?
December 16th, 2012 at 6:44 PM
Pete Carrol fake punting up 30 in the 4th. Karmas a bitch Pete.
December 16th, 2012 at 6:46 PM
What’s your deal?…#Pete’s a massive hypocrite
December 16th, 2012 at 6:47 PM
Pete Carrol fake punting up 30 in the 4th.
Sounds like me when I play the Amsterdam Admirals on Madden.
December 16th, 2012 at 6:48 PM

No. For a time I was in a operational role where you’d produce reports on peoople ready for termnination. It sucked knowing when you got these names they were pretty much done for. But those people would really have been in a bottom percentile of employees for an 18-month range and just waiting for the pink slip (there’s your Stafford group). There are a # people incapable of quitting an unpleasant role and just wait to be fired before moving on with their lives, including some nice people I know. It was odd. Now I just do workforce management which means optimizing schedules with customer patterns (but at certain brief periods is a lot of vacation threshold setting).
December 16th, 2012 at 6:58 PM
STAFFORD!!! And this is why I advocated putting Hill in
December 16th, 2012 at 6:58 PM
Nice TD throw by Stafford, hit the guy in the numbers.
/guy plays for Arizona
December 16th, 2012 at 6:58 PM
hillbilly again
December 16th, 2012 at 6:59 PM
Crunch time for Dallas. Historically, this is when Romo has floundered
December 16th, 2012 at 7:00 PM
I AM ALL KNOWING. RESPECT MY WISDOM.
Yeah I saw Dawson re-committed. Good for Michigan.
December 16th, 2012 at 7:00 PM
Hey Lions-my nuts, your mouth. Fuck you.
December 16th, 2012 at 7:02 PM
Steeler fans are rocking in Dallas. Damn.
December 16th, 2012 at 7:09 PM
Surprised we didn’t get a “This is what the Jets need to happen to make the playoffs” post. Point is, a Cowboy win helps pave the way for this potentially hilarious situation
December 16th, 2012 at 7:10 PM
I’m just happy to see that Cass Tech pipeline open again. Especially with that QB they have.
December 16th, 2012 at 7:26 PM
Antonio Brown doing all he can to blow this game
December 16th, 2012 at 7:34 PM
Then he runs out of bounds…what an idiot
December 16th, 2012 at 7:40 PM
Might as well try to draw Pitt offsides. If not, take the delay and punt
December 16th, 2012 at 7:49 PM
Nice pick by Carr. The throw looked a bit behind Wallace.
December 17th, 2012 at 11:00 AM
So Clay Matthews is Val Venis?
