Lakers at Knicks: Most Disappointing Team in the NBA vs. the Biggest Surprise
The Lakers are 9-13, have lost three in a row, and Steve Nash is still in street clothes. Mike D’Antoni is frustrated, and there’s Pau Gasol trade chatter daily even though the Lakers said they wouldn’t trade them, but on the plus side, Kobe Bryant is having the best season from the field – 48.8 percent FGs, 39.3 percent from deep – of his career.
The Knicks are headed in the opposite direction: 16-5, best record in the East, undefeated at home, can’t miss from downtown, and have beat the Heat twice by 20 each time. Charles Barkley thinks they’re good!
Obvious thought: this one could get ugly for the unraveling Lakers. A 20+ point loss in the Garden on TNT on an otherwise slow sports night would have the internet buzzing tomorrow, for sure.
Which is why the play is probably the Lakers +6.5, even though they’re just 2-7 on the road.

Kobe in MSG is probably the strongest argument for LAL

The Warriors are on line 2.

Aren’t the Lakers like 1-10 when he scores over 30?
December 13th, 2012 at 6:58 PM
Something like that. Brooklyn and Golden State are the two best teams LAL have beat. Yikes

What does this do to the ESPN Trade Machine? Does ESPN own the rights to PER? Do they have the formula to keep pooping it out?

Yes but I think they are also 1-0 when he scores 81 and has 2 assists.

I’d set Kobe’s o/u at 35.5. Thoughts?

Did Rob Parker get fired yet?
Anywho, the amount of money Anibal Sanchez the Tigers may be shelling out for Anibal Sanchez is hilarious.

Chandler d’s up Howard 1 on 1 like always, they cover everyone else man to man. Kobe gets his 30, Lakers lose by 12.

Same with Sox and Dempster
Could be Copeland and Thomas sightings for hacking purposes

I predict within 5 yrs Dempster will be known in Boston as “dumpster fire”. This will not end well

I could see this with JR Smith having a big night.

I think it’s his proprietery to his blog. So if they keep his blog then they might still use it. They could always get another guy with another similar formula.

It’s a 2 year contract.

Really going back and forth about starting Bryce Brown this week, but my thinking right now is since I could also go with DMC, Moreno, or Wilson it makes sense to just avoid the Thursday game altogether. Those have been brutal to me this year.

In fairness, he’d be Dempster Fire.
