Sascha Smith, the fiancée of Charlotte Bobcats’ guard Ben Gordon, was also involved in the early morning brawl that landed Tyrus Thomas’ wife in jail. WCNC has some of the details that resulted in the arrests:

When officers arrived, Thomas was in a car in the parking lot and tried to leave the scene, hitting a security guard with her car for the second time, police said.

Charlotte police then had to force Thomas, 26, out of the vehicle.

“Officers gained entry to the vehicle by breaking the driver window.  Officers were able to open the door after breaking the window,” CMPD said in a statement.  “A female inside of the vehicle, Shassity Stevenson, began pulling Thomas back inside of the vehicle away from the officers.  During the struggle officers had to utilize force in order to extract Thomas from the vehicle via the driver’s side door of the vehicle.”

Smith was allegedly in the car with Thomas and was charged with resisting arrest when she refused to leave the car.
