Fashion maven, offensive mastermind and former star quarterback. It’s hard for Texas Tech to have made a more popular coaching hire than Kliff Kingsbury. The 33-year-old is not only popular with Red Raiders fans.
Kingsbury was a huge Britney Spears fan back in the day. He was once photographed with Jessica Simpson. There were suggestions back in the day he spent time with one on a tour bus and the other at a New Orleans Hornets game. James Franklin would have been proud to have him as an assistant.

Growing up 95%. I live between Lawrence and KC in a semi-rural area (rural suburb with big lots, no city regulations, and I can burn when I want and piss off the back porch without my wife getting mad at me that the neighbors might see.) I work in KC. I needed to cut down a dead elm last weekend for fuel and my cityfied coworkers implored me to call a cutting service. That would have been a $500 tree had I done that. Did it myself. I have had a raccoon using my porch as a litter box. He finally found his way into the trap last night. My coworkers were worried I was going to get rabies. Nonsense. That saved me a couple hundred dollars. Even though I lived in midtown and Plaza and Brookside and South KC for ten years, I am really uncomfortable in fancy social settings. Although I loved living in KC, it wasn’t meant for me long term after my partying days ended (marriage/kid.) In short, I’m still more redneck I guess.

This concert is said to have arguably the greatest lineup of any concert ever, now that is saying a lot, but when you look at the performers tonight and guest speakers it is a pretty impressive group. The show will kick off in star studded fashion as Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street band will be the opening act around 7:30 p.m.
Other performers throughout the night will include Hip Hop & R&B star Kanye West and the beautiful Alicia Keys. Along with them will be music icons and ageless wonders Bon Jovi, Paul McCartney, and Billy Joel. Other artist such as Eric Clapton, Dave Grohl, Chris Martin, Roger Waters, and Eddie Vedder round out the individual performers. While bands like The Rolling Stones and The Who will undoubtedly please the audience.
