Thomas thrived in his garbage time minutes and earned a spot in the starting lineup coming into this season.

I hate stats too but last season Thomas averaged 25.5 minutes and started 37 games. He’s actually playing and starting less this year.

Or maybe you just called the 2011-12 season of the Kings garbage time? I can’t disagree with you there.

Jimmer profiles to a team needing a scoring guard (a homeless man’s Jason Terry) off the bench. Said team would need to have competent defensive starters at both guard spots, so that bringing in Jimmer wouldn’t make for a total backcourt abomination on one end.

It isn’t worthwhile to theorize would Sacramento would want back, but teams that fit the Jimmer mold include….

Maybe Keith Smart realizes that Jimmer is a role-player and has him in a comfortable role that allows him to show statistical improvements?
