So he attemtped to steal something, the store did not press charges after recovering what he stole and issued him a trespass notice or he was not there. I go with he stole something and was caught but no charges were filed. Not worth their time (store personnel) to press charges if items recovered.

/seems like a guy to root for.

Yup. MCW is a legit 6’6 which would put that guard at 6’8 at minimum making him the world’s largest mall cop. Either case that mall never calls the cops when stuff is stolen.

Example. My buddy was caught stealing from that exact mall freshman year. Caught by security. Instead of telling police they sat him down and grilled him. “Who were you with, etc.” He didn’t give up any names and his “punishment” was to never step foot in the mall again. Needless to say he continued to go back to the mall since that’s something that’s impossible to enforce
