Juan Manuel Marquez Knocked Out Manny Pacquiao… COLD [gif]
Juan Manuel Marquez knocked out Manny Pacquiao tonight. It was amazing. Marquez is now 1-2-1 against Pacquiao in his career. So, are you more excited about Pacquiao – Marquez 5 or Mayweather – Pacquiao I? I’m just kidding. No one cares about Mayweather – Pacquiao now. Pacman has now lost two straight fights. The KO came at the very end of the 6th round.
Here’s an awesome picture (courtesy Getty) of Marquez’s knock down of Pacquiao in the 3rd.
And here is an incredible KO picture. Also from Getty.

That’s because we’re all more pumped for either Canelo-Mayweather or Guerrero-Mayweather on May 4.

That’s because so many lemmings love a guy that doesn’t fight anybody.
/fight somebody good, “money may”.

I’m not a boxing expert by any stretch of the imagination, but that was fun as hell. That last round was an all-timer.

It took him one fight to beat the guy who just put your boy flat on his face. The illusion of Pac Man as the best pound for pound fighter is over.

So boxing’s dead now, right?
December 9th, 2012 at 1:32 AM
only for those who were foolish enough to think that a boxer with mediocre defensive skills was the best in the world.

R.I.P xD

Yup, just like women’s MMA was finished after Cyborg tested positive for PED’s, right TBL?
December 9th, 2012 at 3:41 AM
Except for of course the 10 or so Hall of Famers he has beaten, including a demolition of Marquez. There is that.
December 9th, 2012 at 5:57 AM
Well, you guys know that TBL will rule any sport dead as long as it isn’t the NBA.

He walked into it and kept his guard down on purpose. He rather fight this guy a fifth time than fight Mayweather.
/adjusts tin foil hat.

I’m and admitted Pacquiao guy and a Mayweather “hater,” but I tip my hat to JMM. I sincerely hope that JMM was totally on the level about his training because I want to believe that this result came due to lots of hard work and a new commitment to building power for this fight.

“I’m an admitted…”
/idiot

Let’s be honest here.

Whatever could you mean held? I thought ped in boxing was some plaster in the handwraps

Wow. Pac got rocked. Night night.

The very definition of ‘on the button’

Ironic concern coming from an admitted Pacquiao fan. Pacquiao, a supposed power puncher is now 6 fights in a row without a KO and counting.
December 9th, 2012 at 10:28 AM
Over/under results of a positive PED test surface?
December 9th, 2012 at 10:37 AM
Damn, Getty knocking it out of the park with the photography rights. Those are spectacular.

No one cares about Mayweather – Pacquiao now.
Pacquio lost at least $50 million ducking Mayweather the past five years. Poof. All gone now. Not a chance.

Eh, as de facto ruler of the Philippines, he’ll get by. Somehow.

He also has his singing career to fall back on.

No, real concern. I want to believe that JMM is on the up and up and won the fight fair and square. Pacquiao was playing the aggressor in the fight and got too aggressive at the tail end of 6 and it cost him dearly.
