I live in Cincinnati. When my company has clients in from Texas, California, or where ever, they often request some Cincinnati chili. Most of them love it. A few have regular shipments sent back home.

I’ve read that Tuberville never really felt accepted in Lubbock and there was a vocal minority of people pining for Leach still. Tuberville just didn’t care for the place and wanted to get out. His choice of Cincy speaks to his level of desperation.

Heard Tuberville didn’t get a lot of AD support in Lubbock, and that the wife really hated Lubbock.

Texas Tech’s AD, BTW, managed to run off Leach, got ditched by Tuberville, and has presided over a disaster of a men’s bball program.

He begged KU to be interviewed and KU ignored him.

It’ll be interesting to hear the whole story on this move. He is moving from a currently stable conference to one that is about to implode. Lubbock and Cincy jokes aside, maybe he knows or suspects of something.
