Certainly deserved it. Knew he was a good player but hadn’t seen him this year until the Michigan game. He got absoultely crushed a couple time in it and bounced back like nothing happened. Can’t wait until those undefeated rednecks come to A2 next November.

Love me some Braxton. But, he was not the Heisman winner. In fact, I can’t imagine anyone voting him first.

He will absolutely be a favorite next year. His throwing was immensely better this year. Another off season with a real QB coach and in that offense, he and that entire offense will be ridiculous.

I disagree with this. I’ve seen it from quite a few people. I don’t think the field is anywhere near as bad as when Mark Ingram won the Heisman. Or Eric Crouch. I don’t care what any Midwesterners will say, Eric Crouch was shitty and had no business winning that or even being considered for it. The first half of that national title game was a glory to behold.

Yup. I wouldn’t even have this in the top 5 of worst heisman classes. Crouch and Ingram have already been mentioned. 1998 was really bad after Ricky Williams, 2006 was iffy, 86 wasn’t much better. I actually think this year’s nominees are closer to what you get in most years.
