id def recommend seeing some of the older jazz stars while theyre still alive.

Same for blues stars. I was lucky enough to see Pinetop Perkins and Hubert Sumlin together a couple of summers ago in Austin. Got to finally see Buddy Guy this year, and will be seeing B.B. King in January.
