I saw some guy try to make a half court shot with what seemed to be a medicine ball yesterday. That didn’t work out to well either.

I was a 7th grade shotputter, and they always made me carry that stupid thing around. I used to play grownup mexicans on 8 foot goals at the elementary school in the evenings, and one night I got started dunking the shotput. It was an 8 pounder, but I shattered my awesome watch. On the plus side, I quit having a really stinky wrist.

Okay, I’ll go ahead and say it: he doesn’t fall on his face. That just…doesnt…happen. In the world of bloopers and fail videos, these things are important. Falling on your face usually involves broken face bones, bloody mouth, lost teeth, etc. The worst he probably did here is sprain his wrists or elbows.

I heaved a basketball across the court at a group of freshmen when I was a senior in high school. Well, unfortunately I hit one of them in the face with the ball, the one we all appropriately named “the vampire”. See, this kid was one of those goth weirdos, and in our little podunk country town, it was so strange. Anyway, the ball broke the shit out of that poor goth bastard kids nose, blood was just pouring out of his face. I felt terrible, so I took him a roll of paper towels. He asked me who threw the ball, I promptly responded “I have no clue, but I bet he’s a real asshole.”
