Mark Sanchez Got Benched, and Here’s the Low-light Reel of His Catastrophe Against the Cardinals
Mark Sanchez was benched in favor of backup – technically, 3rd stringer – Greg McElroy against the Cardinals, and as you can see from the video above, Rex Ryan clearly made the right call.
The numbers from Sanchez were grizzly: 10-of-21, 97 yards, three interceptions. A week after the epic buttfumble, Sanchez needed to perform better.
McElroy entered in the 3rd quarter, led the Jets on their only TD drive of the game, and New York held on for an unimpressive 7-6 victory. Afterward, Rex was peppered with the obvious questions: Who is the starter next week against 2-10 Jacksonville? He said he hadn’t made up his mind. I’ll sleep on it and have my take tomorrow.

Whenever I hear “Yakety Sax,” I now think of Sanchise being taken down by a giant lineman’s ass.

Still waiting for whisenhunt to explain why he thinks Lindley is a better option than Skelton…

Go bills

He doesn’t. He is just too stubborn to admit he was wrong. Kolb is the only servicable QB on that team.
December 2nd, 2012 at 6:54 PM
Gotta be honest. I never heard of Lindley until today.
December 2nd, 2012 at 6:56 PM
Meth, I wish I had never heard of him.

Just go to Canada and find a grocery bagger. Boom. Franchise quarterback. Right there.

The Cardinals would have been better off with Audra Lindley as their starting quarterback.

The Cardinals would have been better off with Audra Lindley as their starting quarterback.
Ok. I’ve gotta be honest again. I had to look her up. Never heard of her until today, either.

Hate to admit it, but it seems that Jets’ posts bring the funny out of everyone.
I can’t listen to “Yakety Sax” anymore without thinking of the Sanchize.

Biggest question I have following the Jets game.
Did they find someone to help the fans with their spelling?
