Greg McElroy Threw His 1st NFL TD Pass, Then Looked Around to Find the Ball as a Keepsake
Greg McElroy replaced ineffective Mark Sanchez in the 3rd quarter, and quickly guided the Jets downfield for a TD.
His 3rd down scoring pass to tight end Jeff Cumberland was McElroy’s first in NFL history, and gave the Jets a 7-3 lead.
After the pass, McElroy wanted the football, but couldn’t find it. But he wasn’t leaving the end zone without it.

Sad when 3/4 for 11 yards is considered good, but no turnovers is already an improvement over Sanchez.

See even the guy who threw the ball to McElroy is better than Sanchez.
