titus young football detroit lionsTitus Young, Senior, is having all sorts of maturity issues in Detroit. Two weeks ago, he was benched at the end of Detroit’s loss to Green Bay. Shawn Jefferson, the wide receiver coach, was seen yelling at the offensive coordinator that he was done, and apparently, it was because Young was intentionally lining up in the wrong spot on the key drive that would decide the game.

Young was de-activated for the Thanksgiving game, and just returned to meet with the media today. Clearly a changed man, he engaged in a short interview where he provided one sentence non-answers until a Lions staffer cut it short because of his behavior.

Dominic Raiola also answered some questions for the Detroit News about Young:

“It’s not a distraction because we have moved on from him,” Raiola said. “If he wants to be an a——, let him be an a——. It’s not my problem. What we can control is the guys who want to be here. I want people who want to be here and I think everybody else wants the same thing.

Not sure why the newspaper would block out the word Asparagus. Sounds like the Lions need to move on.
