CBS Sports Says Jovan Belcher’s Death Will Not Impact Your Fantasy Team
Jovan Belcher committed suicide at outside Arrowhead Stadium this morning after shooting his girlfriend in front of her mother. Before shooting himself, he thanked GM Scott Pioli and coach Romeo Crennel. Belcher and his girlfriend had recently had a child. This is a horribly tragic story so CBS Sports’ fantasy site made sure to take emotion out of the equation by explaining how Belcher’s death would impact your fantasy team.
“He had 38 tackles and was not a viable Fantasy IDP option in most formats.”
Ugh. They have since updated the site to remove the quoted portion of the report.

It will have some effect on other players in the Chiefs-Panthers game, if they even play to begin with.
