Four Hofstra Basketball Players Arrested For Dormitory Burglaries [UPDATE: Players Also Suspected of Stealing From Own Coach]
Four members of the Hofstra basketball team have been arrested and charged with various counts of burglary in campus dormitories. The players are freshmen Kentrell Washington, Jimmy Hall, Jr., and Dallas Anglin, and sophomore Shaquille Stokes. Among the items stolen were various electronic items, including iPads, iPods, Mac Book Pros, and an iTouch. All of the players have also been suspended by the team and school.
Hofstra is already off to a rough 3-4 start, and Stokes (point guard) and Hall are starters who are among the team leaders in minutes played so far, and all four are in the top eight in minutes played this season.
[UPDATE: According to Newsday, the players may have also stolen from their own coach. Earlier in the semester, head coach Mo Cassera reported items similar to those involved in other cases missing: his iPad, iPhone, as well as cash and credit cards.]

Our rotation is only about 6-8 players deep right now. I think that’ll take it’s toll on the players eventually. We have three transfers sitting out this year though (including two from Illinois) so we should be extremely deep next year.

Wayne Chrebet would be too, but he doesn’t remember going to Hofstra. Or anything for that matter.
