they’re fairly pure zone blocking like denver was under shanny…on a sloppy field, the RB has the advantage because he knows where he’s gonna cut while the defense has to react without their feet being solidly under them.

I can see the Pats jumping out to an early lead and throwing the whole Texans M.O. out of kilter. I actually agree with whatsisname the ex-lineman guy, who suggested that Houston’s style might actually do better on the road in the elements.

As for the nominations this week, I think the Colts are near the bottom of the remaining teams, but are squarely in wildcard position. This week’s nominees are the only remaining 5-6 team needing to survive against the division rival Giants, and the 6-5 teams.

Isn’t this changing the rules? I thought the point is to eliminate the worst teams by vote and see how that ends up doing for playoffs… not see who is in the playoff lead and eliminate around it.
