I like the “idea” of an eight-team playoff, but there’s no way in hell I could go along with giving a MAC team the benefit of the doubt over an Oregon or a Stanford or even a K-State.

How could anyone not like him? Dude was ranked something like only the 30th or 40th best player in Ohio his senior year. I think Michigan was the only B1G school to offer him. Something to keep in mind in a few months when we’re all boasting about the number of stud recruits our teams got.
