Tulsa AD Suspended After Admitting Football Gambling to FBI
Tulsa’s athletic director Ross Parmley has been placed on administrative leave, after an FBI investigation revealed he gambled on college and NFL games.
Parmley admitted to the FBI that he bet on college and professional football games for years before quitting gambling early in 2010, a source told The Oklahoman.
He told the FBI he made payments to Mitchell on losses and collected from Mitchell on wins, said the source who has read an FBI report on his interview.
Parmley has not been charged with a crime. His bookie, Teddie Mitchell, faces federal charges.

Where’s the game? Tulsa beat UCF in Tulsa two or three weeks ago.

A yeah, I took TULSA -1.5 in that game and they covered by the half pt. 23-21. Game was in Tulsa. O’leary getting a 2nd crack at Tulsa, I like their chances.

O’Leary should check out what Tulsa does on third and long…they empty their LBs from the middle of the field and double up on receivers. SMU saw this on Saturday and audibled to a QB sneak up the middle. Garret Gilbert took off down the gigantic hole in the middle and scored on 74 yard run without so much as a Tulsa defender breathing on him.

That was a nice win for the Mustangs on Saturday. Didn’t see any of the game, but was checking scores and saw they were dominating throughout the game. Read that Tulsa had a final that the guy got tackled at the 1 yd line of SMU. Wow

Yeah, we were up 35-6 but allowed them to crawl back into the game. Tulsa threw a hail mary with 1 second left and the receiver made contact with the ball while still in the end zone but didn’t gain possession until he was inches outside of it and thus the game ended. What a shitty end to the season that would have been.

Jim Flemming is a good DC so he’ll adjust. The reason why UCF lost to Tulsa last time was not the fault of the defense. It was on GOL mismanaging the clock again and his idiotic, caveman like offensive coordinator. If GOL loses this game he’s fired that’s the rumor.
