that guy is still there, but i think the Guatemalans peddling smut cards forced him down to the denny’s at casino royale.

My friend went as one of these smut peddling guys for halloween this year. He had the cards left over from his vegas trip this winter and he painted his face a nice orange/brown tint

i’m not sure how the sports books in the new places in the middle of the strip like Aria and Cosmopolitan are, so those might be worth checking out.

If you drink domestic beer, the sportsbook at Planet Hollywood is conveniently close to the PBR Rock Bar that sells 24 oz cans of beer 2 for $6. Not sure if they normally allow this but a few friends and I camped out at a table at the PH sportsbook after placing some bets on college football and were buying all of our beer from that Rock Bar.

I have always done the first weekend of the tournament on the guy trip.

The 23-24 is the first weekend. They have caused mass confusion by calling the play-in games the “opening round” and “first round” to make those teams feel better. But the weekend we are going is round of 32.

IIRC ,O’Sheas was over there by Imperial Palace / Harrah’s on some corner. Had some silver-painted guy out front who used to pretend he was a statue. Like that guy in Hot Fuzz.

it seems every time I go to vegas its always July/August. Great for spending hours at the pool…not so great when you walk down the strip

which is essentially why i like to go. i don’t gamble, but i like the nightlife, dinner and entertainment options, and baking by the pool at 8am.

Havent been to Vegas in years but the Rio Suites were always cheap, with huge rooms, and the book didnt make you buy drinks. I bet online and watched all the college football & NFL games there with no problems. I havent been to other books though, but Rio was more than sufficient for a degenerate like myself.
