Michael Dixon Was Accused of Forcible Rape Back in August, But Police Found Insufficient Evidence to Pursue Charges
Michael Dixon, the Missouri shooting guard, has yet to play this year because of a suspension for reasons not disclosed. Over the weekend, those reasons began to emerge, as it is based on a Student Conduct Committee action against Dixon, and there were allegations of rape made by a woman on Twitter.
Steve Walentik of the Columbia Daily Tribune is now reporting that an offense report was made back on August 20th regarding Dixon. The police found insufficient evidence to bring charges.
Piecing it together, it appears that similar allegations were then brought before the Missouri Student Conduct committee, as this was apparently another student making the allegations. That body then decided to take some disciplinary action against Dixon. This would explain Kim English’s tweet from the other night: “The Univ of Missouri ‘student board’ is a joke. Acting and making a decision without having actual facts. University should be ashamed!”
If these allegations from August 20th are in fact tied to Dixon’s current suspension, then it is not up to Coach Haith as to when he returns, and likely depends on the University reinstating him from whatever disciplinary action was imposed by the Student Conduct Committee.
[UPDATE: According to Terez Paylor of the Kansas City Star, the investigation into that August report was closed on November 16th. The school discipline for Dixon began in October.]

An internet rumor is true!
If the cops aren’t going forward with charges due to insufficient evidence, then Mizzou needs to let him play.

Those Tweets are at the core of a lot of the reporting, or the dance being done by reporters.

Well, she made them elsewhere too. They were sent to Kim English in response to his comments. My credibility hasn’t taken any hit.

What’s forcible rape?
When a guy nails a girl and doesn’t call her back. She cries and they force a rape allegation on him.

I took it as Squwak was talking about the chick using Twitter to blame Dixon. This has been rumored since last week and Twitter was a big part of the story. I absolve Lisk of any wrongdoing. He is just commenting on the facts.

I suggest the University Student Board hire former Missouri republican Senate hopeful Todd Akin to rule on the allegation.
After all, he is an expert on what is rape, what is not, what a women can or cannot do, and what will happen to her.
