See I don’t remember that from college at all. I guess it was accuracy, not arm strength that was gonna hold him back. I saw him a few times, and really liked him, but I don’t remember the downfield throws like that.

Basically I think he’s going to get exposed right at year’s end.

I almost went against them this week, but figure next week will be his drop. I mericfully went 4-1 on the games I “knew” this week, and 10-5 overall. Somehow I managed to have only one losing week, one .500 week in pick’em, and just now finally got a double-digit week.

I saw him a few times, and really liked him, but I don’t remember the downfield throws like that. If you can throw 30 yards without having to put a bunch of air under it, it really opens up a lot of routes when you don’t give safeties time to adjust. It’s such a Rodgers/Manning thing to do.

How did Kaepernick look yesterday? Is he really that much better than Smith (right now)? I liked him at Nevada, wanted him to get a shot in the NFL, but man… you’re asking a kid to start a playoff game with 6 career regular-season starts. Seems like a lot, even with that defense.

He looked good, awareness of defenders isn’t there quite yet though. Made some seriously impressive on the move and off balance throws, kid clearly has a fucking cannon.
