ESPN Made Jesse Palmer Apologize For Doing ‘Horns Down’ During the Texas-TCU Game

This happened over Thanksgiving break, so you may have missed it. We don’t have video of Palmer doing the horns down signal (screen cap below), but here’s Rece Davis leading Palmer into an apology. The Longhorn Network will hold this against Jesse Palmer forever.

Reminder: ESPN let Stephen A. Smith get away with dropping an N-bomb on First Take in October, and just brushed it aside.

because it means you’re against Texas, and therefore not objective, I think. But if you put them up, you’re celebrating college football and its grandeur, not expressing a pro-Texas (and therefore anti-whoever they’re playing) sentiment.
Also, because UT fans are sissies with extremely hurtable feelings.
