The Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue their resurgence, and this week can stay in playoff position, and narrow the gap on the team in front of them for the division title, when Atlanta comes to Tampa. The matchups on the outside would be a nightmare for Tampa Bay, but Julio Jones is not 100%, giving them a chance. The Bucs should control the run game, and maybe Atlanta will realize what most of us are seeing–Michael Turner is laboring and a dreadful matchup here. Utilizing Jacquizz Rodgers in short passing would be a far more effective strategy.

Other games:

Denver at Kansas City: The Broncos come in as a massive favorite in Arrowhead, a place they have historically struggled. Peyton Manning, on the other hand, has done just fine in Kansas City.

Minnesota at Chicago: Jay Cutler is back, while Percy Harvin is still out in this one. Minnesota needs a win like this to stay in the hunt, while the Bears look to rebound from an embarrassing performance.

Oakland at Cincinnati: Carson Palmer returns to Cincinnati, and I’m sure will be warmly welcomed.

Pittsburgh at Cleveland: Charlie Batch will set his walker aside and come in for a start for Pittsburgh. Expect an ugly affair dictated by rushing, turnovers, and the occasional big play.

Buffalo at Indianapolis: This is a swing game in the AFC, where the Colts just need to hold serve against teams below them. The Bills can get within a game of a playoff spot with the road win. Expect lots of C.J. Spiller here.

Tennessee at Jacksonville: Can Chad Henne and his porn star mustache do it again? He provided signs of life in Jacksonville.

Seattle at Miami: Seattle is the better team, and Miami is really floundering offensively, but the Seahawks are a notorious struggling road team, particularly on these early cross country trips.

Late Afternoon Games

Baltimore at San Diego: The Ravens have won ugly at times, but are at 8-2. San Diego whipped the Ravens a few years ago in must win mode, and need to do it again.

San Francisco at New Orleans: Colin Kaepernick will start today, and this one is another huge game, as the Saints look to go from 0-4 start to 6-5.

St. Louis at Arizona: Ryan Lindley starts at QB for Arizona. God bless Larry Fitzgerald.
