Marques Colston Landed on His Head, Miraculously Returned to the Game Later
Marques Colston managed to survive this hit, and returned to the game a few series later after passing a few concussion tests.
It’s been a good news/bad news game for Colston – in the first half, he scored his 56th TD for the Saints, which set a club record, surpassing Deuce McAllister.

Ravens just somehow converted a 4th and 29 after Flacco simply dumped it to Ray Rice. Comical effort by the Chargers.
However, the refs completely ignored a blatant crackback block (i.e., Hines Ward rule) on Boldin.
November 25th, 2012 at 7:09 PM
Roeth, I saw that. Maybe he will be ruled short. Makes me wanna holla.
The Boldin block was rough. Weddle is gonna feel that for a while.
November 25th, 2012 at 7:12 PM
Short of where the ball was placed…they’re gonna re-measure. Dang, this doesn’t look good for the Bolts.
November 25th, 2012 at 7:13 PM
The scoreboard read Browns 20 Steelers 14. But don’t be fooled, there were no winners. That was an awful football game.
November 25th, 2012 at 7:13 PM
Block was very illegal, Rice was also barely across the 35, but they gave him enough anyway. Ridiculous.
Chargers are a joke. The Ravens suck, how they keep winning is beyond me.

SD is gonna lose this game. I’m turning over to the Grey Cup.
November 25th, 2012 at 7:17 PM
I’m amazed that, after watching fumbles all fucking game, the refs screwed up the most important one with just over 2 minutes left
/doesn’t matter – Steelers didn’t deserve to win
November 25th, 2012 at 7:18 PM
I’m turning over to the Grey Cup.
I’ll just assume there is no pro bowling or Santa Barbara re-runs on Soap TV for ya SROD.
November 25th, 2012 at 7:20 PM
Why is it every team I absolutely despise (OSU, ND, Ravens, etc.) seems to get every single break in their favor?
November 25th, 2012 at 7:20 PM
Ha!
Hey…it’s the 100th Grey Cup! Aaaaaaaargo!
November 25th, 2012 at 7:21 PM
That Steelers OL and RB situation blows major ass. I was pretty impressed by the Steelers D (granted against CLE). Harrison didnt look decrepit and aged today. In that weather where throwing downfield wasnt plausible, they had that intermediate area completely sealed off.
November 25th, 2012 at 7:22 PM
FUCK YOU CHARGERS. 4TH AND 29 AND YOU GIVE UP A 1ST DOWN?
November 25th, 2012 at 7:23 PM
That 49ers DEF is flying all over the place, sacking Brees and giving out some hits. They’re gonna crush the Phins in a couple of weeks, maybe even have the Phins players leave the field before the game is done.
Keaepernick has impressed, solid arm and goo decision making. This league is a dog-eat-dog league and Alex Smith is the little pup on the porch looking on.

Saints will have to win out to get a wild card spot now right?
November 25th, 2012 at 7:24 PM
basically, what Vlad said.
i will add this: Refs screwed up. clearly Rice’s knee down at the 35. ball couldn’t have gotten to the 33 1/2. no way.
anyway, 3 Chargers converged on Rice well before the first, and he dusted them. what an embarrassment for SD

There are like 6 CFL teams and two of them are named ruff riders.

I flipped over to figure skating during the Vikings annual embarrassment in Chicago. Sasha Cohen… damn. Built to last, to say the least.
November 25th, 2012 at 7:26 PM
whew. at least they got a first. also, i have Alexander in fantasy.
November 25th, 2012 at 7:26 PM
Success on 4th and 29? What is this – Packers-Eagles?
November 25th, 2012 at 7:26 PM
1st half, maybe they make that tackle. So many missed tackles in the second half, gave Balt a chance to get back in it.
November 25th, 2012 at 7:28 PM
Good find scripty, that pic on the front of that calender looks like something from Vivid films collection

That picture of her doing the splits in SI is burned into my memory.

Where can I place a bet that every Saints fan that posts here will be on here tonight or tomorrow morning whining and whining some more about not getting any calls, giving the Niners D exactly zero credit?
November 25th, 2012 at 7:31 PM
I took SF -1, alot of the public was on NO and especially playing at home. NO’s DEF still is bad.
November 25th, 2012 at 7:35 PM
Kapernick has the most tattoos for any QB with 2 career wins, right?
November 25th, 2012 at 7:38 PM
Freeman has a lot of ink as well
November 25th, 2012 at 7:39 PM
Brees for the MVP!
November 25th, 2012 at 7:46 PM
Big Show will be out of CLE by end of week, presser tomorrow possibly. Jason Garret, pack your shit up.
November 25th, 2012 at 7:48 PM
Fuck I hate Norv Turner. Win this game so the Broncos can move up on you. Fuck Joe Flacco. Fuck Lane Kiffin. Wait, what?
November 25th, 2012 at 7:48 PM
Who else could make Flacco look clutch?
This is the end of the annual Norval late-season, save-my-job telethon. They gotta let him go at season’s end this time, right?
November 25th, 2012 at 7:50 PM
Have never played organized football, is low-bridging a guy like that (in the GIF above) against code, or just making a guy pay?
November 25th, 2012 at 7:53 PM
Dang it. Dang it all to heck.
November 25th, 2012 at 7:54 PM
It’s a shame I can’t enjoy these Norv fails more this year as a Chiefs fan.
November 25th, 2012 at 7:55 PM
Also, how much of River’s success should we attribute to Jackson? 85?
November 25th, 2012 at 7:55 PM
Looks like the NFL loves the Harbaugh brothers.
November 25th, 2012 at 7:56 PM
At least that much. Those wobbly goblins Jackson used to catch now flutter to the ground.
November 25th, 2012 at 8:00 PM
Another disappointing loss for the Bills. Oh well
November 25th, 2012 at 8:04 PM
The Colts tried to lose that game. Fitzpatrick sucks. A lot of horrible QB’ing today.
November 25th, 2012 at 8:14 PM
Grey Cup halftime entertainment – Gordon Lightfoot, Marianas Trench, Carly Rae Jepsen, and…Bieber! Wha, no Glass Tiger? No Saga?
Stephen, fire up your recording gear, brotha.
November 25th, 2012 at 8:24 PM
Saga, by request
/80′s rule
//probably gonna get shit for this, oh well.

Grey Cup halftime entertainment
All the good Rush cover bands like The 2012s, The Counterparts, The Hemispheres & The Limelighters – they were all booked. They tried to book the less successful Rush tribute act Roll the Boners, but they had an existing booking in Sudbury and the 3rd-rate act, Flown by Night – they were stuck in Moose Jaw with transportation issues.
November 25th, 2012 at 8:33 PM
When I had my ’82 Camaro, cruising around Memphis, I used to crank this. Pissed off the neighbors. Didn’t care.
Rhetorical for you musos out there – if you were a backing musician, and your biggest credit was backing Carly Rae Jepsen or Bieber, would you consider that a career-defining opportunity OR would you try to live it down by going into other genres?
November 25th, 2012 at 8:43 PM
Backing musician gotta get paid. Once you’ve signed up to back a pop star you’ve already made that decision. Lots of pissed off wives and kids back home demanding you send home the biggest cheque possible.
