Denard Robinson’s 67-Yard Touchdown Run Against Ohio State Was Pretty Special
All, College Football, GIF, Video November 24th. 2012, 1:44pm
Denard Robinson can’t throw? No problem. Nice tackling from the two gentlemen who bounced off Denard Robinson. 21-20 Michigan at the half.

Is special code for shitty tackling?
Loved the student body right feel to it
/the over is looking good
November 24th, 2012 at 1:51 PM
In defense of Travis Howard, it looked like he was actually trying to wrap up before Bryant decided that just hitting someone with his shoulder would be good enough.
BTW, what ever happened to Spencer calling the spread a “faggy” offense, and bitching about QBs looking to the sideline for the playcall?
November 24th, 2012 at 1:53 PM
This is pathetic we get that you went to Michigan but try and be natural in your coverage of college football. From your posts you make it seem that Michigan is up by 30 instead of 1
November 24th, 2012 at 1:55 PM
Judgeing from the posts OSU must not be in this game
November 24th, 2012 at 1:56 PM
This aint the fourth estate doc
November 24th, 2012 at 1:58 PM
Embarrassing, disgusting, atrocious, unacceptable. OSU needs to cut down on the stupid penalties and wrap up. Self-inflicted wounds are the reason this game is so close. I don’t have a good feeling about this shit.
November 24th, 2012 at 1:58 PM
They want to trout Ty Duffy as their college football analyst then that requires being neutral
November 24th, 2012 at 1:59 PM
Meh, Duffy’s allowed to be ridiculously over the top for OSU-Michigan
/it’ll make Michigan’s loss all that much sweeter.
November 24th, 2012 at 2:00 PM
Vladdy you got screwed on that facemask no-call. Blatant
November 24th, 2012 at 2:01 PM
Duffy isn’t accepted as a Michigan fan.
/doesn’t care that he has the diploma
//Duffy doesn’t know CFB

Make-up call for Boren leading with the helmet and going high on the sack.
November 24th, 2012 at 2:02 PM
Hilarious. This is roughly my view of the spread offense.
November 24th, 2012 at 2:03 PM
For the 900th time…this place is not journalism in the classic sense. Classic meaning neutral, interviewing sources, researching, etc.
November 24th, 2012 at 2:04 PM
Speaking of Boren, it’s pathetic that a guy who’s been a linebacker for two months is arguably Ohio State’s best defender on the field today.
November 24th, 2012 at 2:07 PM
They attempt to provide analysis in an online format maybe it is not the same as Sports Illustrated but they are attempting to provide a form of journalism. Besides in the future there will not be print newspapers so this is where journalism is heading like it or not
November 24th, 2012 at 2:07 PM
I know makeup calls are real but it blows when safety is involved
November 24th, 2012 at 2:08 PM
Dumb call going for it there.
November 24th, 2012 at 2:09 PM
Can we get a .gif post of Robinson getting driven back 4 yards on that 4th down?
November 24th, 2012 at 2:10 PM
Ok doc. I said in the classic sense.
Analysis is more like opinion. And i don’t care what the format is, there will never be a substitute for factfinding and neutrality and sourcing/interviewing
November 24th, 2012 at 2:12 PM
That is a massive understatement. One of the dumbest calls of the year.
November 24th, 2012 at 2:13 PM
Jesus Christ Urban. Run Hyde and throw more. Quit trying to run Braxton. Call pass plays and when no ones open he needs to run. So many open lanes have been missed. Hesitation is also killing Brax.
November 24th, 2012 at 2:14 PM
Bernard Berrian approves of this pseudo-journalism
November 24th, 2012 at 2:15 PM
I agree that is my point TBL is one of the bigger sports blogs you would think that they would want to be neutral in their coverage.
November 24th, 2012 at 2:22 PM
RUN THE FUCKING BALL. ITS 2 AND 1. FEED HYDE YOU FUCK ASSES.
November 24th, 2012 at 2:22 PM
Nathan Williams on the fumble recovery. 5th year senior I think had 2 significant knee procedures came back from.
November 24th, 2012 at 2:23 PM
FIRE HERMAN.
November 24th, 2012 at 2:23 PM
But its a blog no matter how big. It can be what it chooses. If you can make money without doing dirty work why not do it?
November 24th, 2012 at 2:25 PM
Sure looks like a normal B1G game now…
November 24th, 2012 at 2:28 PM
I really wanted to see Michigan win this so Ohio State fans don’t try to claim the national title. Plus it is very difficult to like Urban Meyer, pompous ass that he is. However, that preposterous decision by Michigan to go on 4th down makes me feel like they deserve to lose.
November 24th, 2012 at 2:34 PM
C’mon Kenny G. Need a TD!
November 24th, 2012 at 2:37 PM
What happened to Miller?
November 24th, 2012 at 2:43 PM
Miller appears to be regressing.
November 24th, 2012 at 2:44 PM
No words. Fire Herman. Need a fucking TD here. Run Hyde.
November 24th, 2012 at 2:50 PM
Reading through these comments I have come to the conclusion that VladimirCrouton is pleased with Ohio State’s offensive coordination. I’d like to see the vitriol if they had actually lost a game this year.
November 24th, 2012 at 2:57 PM
Fortunately for Ohio State, the defense has played like the Buckeyes D of the mid-2000s in the 2nd half.
November 24th, 2012 at 2:59 PM
Gdammit now i have to sweat the over. Seemed a lock at half
November 24th, 2012 at 2:59 PM
Unfortunately for Ohio State, the offense has played like the Buckeyes O of the mid-2000s in the 2nd half.
/what the fuck
November 24th, 2012 at 3:00 PM
OSU should be up big. Redzone offense has been horrible. Throw the fucking ball. Options to the outside.
November 24th, 2012 at 3:16 PM
Undefeated season, AND they’re spared the ignominy of losing by 35 in the National Championship! Meyer couldn’t have drawn it up any better.
November 24th, 2012 at 3:22 PM
Big ups for the OSU D in the 2nd half. Had the offense not shit the bed this is a 42-21 game. Great job by the Michigan D though.
November 24th, 2012 at 3:25 PM
That wasn’t OSU defense of old. That was Michigan play-calling from the Carr era. When your OC gets outschemed by Luke Fickell you know you are having a bad day.
Absolutely amazing that the offensive game plan against Iowa showed more innovation than that abortion. Michigan is going to have a great defense most years, but as long as Borges is calling plays they are fucked.
November 24th, 2012 at 3:27 PM
I was so relieved when Denard wasn’t out there. I feel bad for John Simon. he would’ve had a huge game today if healthy.
November 24th, 2012 at 3:29 PM
Meh. If he went against Lewan I seriously doubt it. Especially because Michigan refuses to run to his side of the field on short yardage. Absolutely mind-blowing. While he isn’t as good as Jake Long was, he was still the best offensive lineman on the field for either team.
November 24th, 2012 at 3:35 PM
A messy stat sheet but they took care of business and Urban served notice that we’re back. For the seniors they got 3 on-the-field wins vs. UM (and Nathan Williams got 4). There was a lot of negative noise around the program a year ago and a lot of hard work was rewarded. Now Urban can go into recruiting and start crushing again.
November 24th, 2012 at 3:41 PM
Gdammit now i have to sweat the over. Seemed a lock at half
pours one out.
November 24th, 2012 at 3:42 PM
Amen brother. Offense needs a lot of work. Can’t wait for when they add more speed and execute at a higher degree. Need more kill.
November 24th, 2012 at 3:45 PM
Thanks script
November 24th, 2012 at 3:48 PM
True. Easy to see the real reasons he went to Ohio State. Not the transparent drivel he fed the media and Florida fans, but the fact that Ohio State is the easiest program to bring to national championship games now. The Big Ten is atrocious and OSU fans will be content with his “avoid any decent teams at all costs” non-conference scheduling philosophy. This was a mediocre OSU team too, and he ran the table with relative ease.
November 24th, 2012 at 3:52 PM
Best thing I saw this year was the OSU offensive line that can once again take the top shelf OL recruits and deliver a team than can pound on opponents. When the speed is addeed to attack the perimeter it can only help the offense. The special teams went from a post-Sweater atrocity (thanks Dick Tressel for phoning it 2011 in) to adaquate. That should continue to solidify.
We’ll lose Simon, Williams, Hankins and have to address that DL again. Sabino and Little Boren gone too. Props to Boren from going from FB to LB mid-year and playing so fucking well. OSU lifer. Luke Fickell took a lot of heat and is unpopular but helped the transition and was the DC on a 12-0 team. I did like a few added wrinkles (like moving Simon all over the line in the UW game) so we’ll see if the aggressive schemes continue. It wasn’t Silver Bullets yet.
But in the end, they took care of every game on the field. Plenty of better teams on paper fuck up a stupid loss here or there and the Buckeyes delivered where it mattered most.
Respect to a team that had no BCS game to play for but kept things dialed in.
