Matt Schaub on Ndamukong Suh Kicking Him in the Balls
Ndamukong Suh dodged reporters after the Lions lost to the Texans in overtime, 34-31, but Matt Schaub gleefully took questions about getting kicked in the balls – accidentally, or on purpose, nobody will ever know for sure – by Suh, a talented but problem-ridden player.
“I really don’t have anything to say about that play or that person,” Schaub said.
The only defense – and it’s a thin one – for Suh is that his head was facing the turf and there’s no way he could possibly have aimed his foot at Schaub’s family jewels. But given Suh’s history, few people are going to give him the benefit of the doubt. [AP]

we’d not be talking about this is schaub wasn’t an idiot and wore a cup.
seriously though, why wouldn’t you wear a cup in football?

This “thin” defense includes “no way he could possibly” in the same sentence. Not so thin. I think this is unintentional. Let’s instead talk about the JJ Watt’s helmet-to-chin on Stafford that went uncalled/ignored.

Umm I think we know for sure. The initial hit may have been accidental (unlikely) but the leg extension was on purpose.

because people are trying to hit you in the head, not your sack-o-nuts. And I imagine it would really get in the way of your mobility, and constantly have to be adjusted, which means digging deep down beneath a whole load of compression gear.

seems like a small price to pay to not have your junk smashed up by cleats.

Definitely intent there.
In the first video, he appears to be following Zombieland rule #2: Double Tap.
It looks like he re-cocks and makes an attempt to give Shaub a matching pair.
