So is the rule if you throw challenge flag on a call that is ordinarily automatically reviewed upstairs (scoring plays, turnovers) then the refs won’t review it and the call stands plus a penalty?

It’s really hard to lose eight home games in a row at any point, and the fact that Detroit has done it on Thanksgiving is remarkable.

While there’s no denying the Lions futility on Thanksgiving. I think a lot of it has to do with quality opponents – since it’s a national game they usually get paired with a legitimate team for this game. Just sayin…
