Class of 2000. I don’t think that gives me any special right to cheer for ND over a non-alumni fan, though. The more the merrier, I say!

The entire idea is pretty stupid, anyway. When a football team wins, it’s not like any of us accomplished anything – alumni or non-alumni of any school. What gets me is people who use “us” when referring to a team.

Been to USC-ND games in Los Angeles and in South Bend. There’s a huge difference between the two sets of ND fans who go to these games. The subway alums in the LA game are usually white trash and/or catholic, so naturally, they root for ND. They are about as vile as you can get.

ND fans in South Bend are great and very classy.

That damn discount double check commercial influences 1st graders way more than I’m comfortable with. I went on my kid’s field trip last week and they were all discount double checking. 1st graders can’t even buy insurance.

Ed Reed is one of the cleanest players in the league. It’s not his fault Sanders ducked when Reed arrived. The flag was stupid at the time but it’s one you just swallow and chalk up to typical officiating incompetence/targeting. But to look at the tape and then make a determination to suspend the man after the fact borders on bias. There is simply no case to be made that the hit was dirty.

It’s his game check, which is no different than a fine. How is this allowed to stand? That hit was just as much Sanders’ fault as it was Reeds, and it certainly wasn’t dirty. Hell it was barely illegal.
