Should the Big 10 go to 20, I’d expect Uva, UNC and GT added (that’s 17), then go after Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas.

North (UM, MSU, UM, UW, NW)

Probably. And now that I think about it, Clemson doesn’t really bring the SEC anything that it doesn’t already have.

What, are you walking from Piscataway?

You can catch the express train from New Brunswick to Penn Station and be there in 30 minutes. Google says walking to MSG from the train station is 10 hours and 46 minutes. Driving is 45-50 depending on traffic.

And Gary got Walt Williams J-Mac. Single-handedly reopened the downtown pipeline after the Wade debacle. His signing and success did more to save that program than anything. For Baltimore Sun beat reporter Paul McMillian thinks there should be a Walt Williams statue outside the Comcast Center for what he meant to that program, and I don’t disagree.

Walt Williams isn’t from Baltimore, he’s from PG County. I thought Williams was recruited by Wade, but I could be wrong. G. Williams finally had the door reopened for him in B’More after the Wade fiasco with Keith Booth.

Shit, outside of the occasional stop in DC, the ACC tourney is almost always in NC now.

Pretty much always been that way. ACC begins and ends on Tobacco Road. Only been in the DC area twice in the last 25 years (1987, 2005).

The tourney is so different now. Now it’s almost strategic to lose before the final rather than kill yourself before the NCAAs.

Didn’t bother Duke in 2010. It’s almost like that ‘better off losing’ thing is a narrative built up to excuse Roy Boy’s god awful game management abilities.
