Fantasy Football Start ‘Em, Sit ‘Em, Week 11: Marcel Reece Should Be In Your Lineup
This week’s Fantasy Football Start ‘Em and Sit ‘Em will be pretty short. Start Marcel Reece. Given the Saints’ propensity to give up yards to living players (Michael Turner doesn’t count), I can’t play with the distribution enough to suggest he should be out of the lineup. Unless the Raiders were sandbagging us last week with how they are going to distribute carries, Reece is gold with this matchup. Even if he gets just 50% of expected production from Raiders’ backs, he is a mid-RB2. I’ve got him at RB11, because I think he’ll get a little more than that.
The running back rankings this week have a clear top 5 that are head and shoulders above the others in projection, then a muddled mess because of bad matchups for some top players (Gore, Forte among them), some great matchups for guys further down the list (Benjarvus Green-Ellis and Woodhead, the Saints running backs).

Lisk, you really think luck over rg3 this week? I know the secondary for ne historically bad, but Phillys d is bad everywhere. I can only start of one them, and was strongly leaning rg3 until I saw this.

I guess that depends on your league’s scoring relative to running versus passing. In the leagues I am in, Luck actually has slightly more points at this point, so it is not a ridiculous position at all. He’s also played a much tougher passing schedule so his adjusted points even better. This is his best matchup of the year, and he has been a top 10 QB as is.
And the matchup. You say Philly’s D is bad everywhere. The Patriots give up way more points to Quarterbacks. Eagles are actually 12th best vs. opposing QB in fantasy points, while Pats are 5th worst. Colts will be throwing a lot today too, with no running game to speak of.
You start who you want, but my projections are based on adjusted points scored, and opponent points allowed, as well as injuries. The Garcon factor brings RG III back some, though we don’t know how big a contributor he will be first week back.

that little bitch julio jones is probably going to be out today for the falcons.
not that it matters. i’m 3-7 thanks to my punk ass team

No way Im playing Steve Smith over Amendola, don’t care how good Smiths matchup is. Amendola is playing out of his mind and the Panthers are too inconsistent.

Lisk – would you play Manningham or Titus Young as a replacement if Julio Jones doesn’t play today?
November 18th, 2012 at 11:03 AM
I have to play Heyward-Bay this week because Brown is out and don’t trust his replacement Sanders.

Lisk, should I play Theismann against the Gisnts on Monday night? I think it should be his best game ever….

Just saw that Jones is active. I would play Young unless loaded.

If Heyward-Bey is active, play him. He is listed on the injury report. If you can make adjustments, should know by about 2:30, and can put Sanders in if not since he plays tonight.

I’ll lean towards playing him. Thanks

I’ll lean towards playing him. Thanks
And by that, I meant, play Jones, and Young is a great start too unless loaded. Low end WR2, high end WR3. I didn’t mean start Young over Jones.

thanks for the feedback lisk.

Out of Amendola, Julio Jones, and Titus Young, which two should I start this week in a PPR league?
November 18th, 2012 at 12:46 PM
jones is active, if he’s playing, gotta start him, right?
November 18th, 2012 at 12:51 PM
Hard to bench Julio with his potential for 20+ points every week he plays.
November 18th, 2012 at 12:52 PM
I have Marshall and DeSean Jackson, so Julio would be WR3 at this point today, however Ryan is my QB and in the PPR aspect, getting the double points does help. Hence my reason to start Julio over Titus Young.
November 18th, 2012 at 12:56 PM
Julio > D Jax
November 18th, 2012 at 12:58 PM
Yeah im starting Julio and Amendola. What about Heath Miller or Vernon at TE? PPR league
November 18th, 2012 at 1:00 PM
Obviously. However JDax > Titus Young at this point. Plus DeSean is usually really good against the Redskins. Homerish, but I think Foles has a good game.

Great start so far!
