Aqib Talib Returns Luck Interception, Philip Rivers Keeps It Going
You knew on a late afternoon populated with Philip Rivers and Carson Palmer, we would get our share of interception returns.
So far, Palmer, Peyton Manning, and Andrew Luck have all thrown interceptions that have been returned for touchdowns. [UPDATE: Rivers was returned inside the 10] Tom Brady and Drew Brees are slackers. Featured above is Aqib Talib’s lengthy return back and forth through traffic. Up until Stokley’s catch, the SD defense was not playing horribly. Hate to admit it, but it’s not even halftime and it looks to be ovah.
SD’s offense and special teams look shaky. I’ll keep watching, but it doesn’t look good.
I did notice a USAF sticker on the back of Manning’s helmet on that closeup. Aim High!

Rivers really REALLY misses Vincent Jackson. The Roy Green/Gary Clark of this generation. Most underappreciated skill position player of the past 10+ years.
