I saw that William Houston accepted a preferred walk-on spot for OSU. What exactly does that mean? That he can eventually play his way to a scholarship?

It means first and foremost that you likely won’t be seeing a true fullback at OSU under Urban. As a preferred walk-on, he’ll be practice fodder for two years, then maybe get a chance to play special teams (may happen earlier if talented and fast). Special teams leads to playing time, playing time leads to scholarship.

really? i think it’s an assbeating. wisky runs the type offense ohio state can actually stop and only injury can stop brax.

I fully expect Bielema to come out with a gameplan that accounts for this. And then also to never readjust after Ohio State figures out the scheme.
